Brandon Stanton is the creator behind the popular photo blog Humans of New York (HONY). After being fired from his job as a bond trader in Chicago, Brandon moved to NYC to create a photographic census of the city. The blog, started in 2010, features portraits of people in New York City along with snippets of conversations. Recently, Brandon has taken the blog abroad, featuring stories from around the world. He is also the author of 2 #1 New York Times Bestselling books, Humans of New York and Humans of New York: Stories. In his free time, Brandon likes to hang out with his girlfriend and dogs.
