Intro to UX Design with Jamal Nichols

I really enjoyed this class. It was a great intro; very informative and encouraging. I am excited to watch more of Jamal's classes and learn more!

I'm currently enrolled in a Google Professional Certificate in UX Design on Coursera, but I am seeking additional input from other sources because that's just who I am. :) I have completed my first two weeks with Coursera, so although I am still a newbie, I am not completely ignorant about UX design. I noticed that this course is five years old, yet I learned a lot from Jamal, and am very happy to have taken this quick intro to UX design from him, and will be looking into his other courses as well. If you think you might be interested in UX design, TAKE THIS CLASS.

Very nice introduction to UX design that shows how many different aspects underlying this term.

I really enjoyed listening to Jamal's class and I would definitely recommend it to any one interested in this topic. I would be interested in viewing other classes he's taught.

Great introduction to UX

Jamal is well spoken and very good at breaking down complex scenarios into plain English.

This is a great class to take if you are thinking about venturing into the UX field, Jamal gives a great overview of what the UX field is about, how design is approached in UX, and what some of the industry terms mean. Listen at the end as I think he offers the most insight into getting started as a UX designer.

One of the best "Intro to UX" classes I've ever taken. I love how Jamal makes it pretty easy to understand — even for those with no background in design whatsoever. It’s a good starting point for folks who are interested in learning about UX but might be frightened by all the buzzwords and technical terms. So this class is totally recommended, as well as his Interaction Design class. Thank you so much, Jamal, and hope we could learn more from you in the future classes!

Despite being doing UX design for about 2 years already, I was able to learn some things on analytics and interaction design. Jamal is such a great teacher, in that he usually illustrates a lot of examples that makes it even easier to understand hard UX concepts. Great course!

This is a great class that is easy to understand and digest. Jamal is witty, personable, and uses amazing analogies to connect the viewer to the process of UX design and its fundamental principles. Jamal is inspiring! His class on UX Design hit dead center - covering essential core topics and tying them to real world examples as well as other leaders in the field. Jamal is not only an effective instructor but is also accessible. Way to go! I look forward to more!

I thoroughly enjoyed this introduction on UX design. The course is well structured and easy to follow. Jamal’s way of presenting the material was engaging and equally insightful. He breaks down the methodology, provides definitions and includes relevant examples. The core principles were easy to follow and understand. Jamal’s passion for design is energizing, his experience and knowledge are evident. Highly recommend this course for anyone working or studying in any sector of design.

Most logical and easy-to-understand overview of UX that I've come across! It's an excellent launchpad for further investigation into the various components of UX design. Thanks Jamal!

Great into class to UX! Turns out my obsession with detail makes me right for a job in the industry (which is a good thing, because that's kind of what I already do :)
