Tap into the True Potential of the Most Lucrative Social Platform for Professionals
With more than 500 million users, LinkedIn is hands down the most popular social media site for businesses and professionals. While many still see it as a place to store and showcase their online resume, LinkedIn has evolved into a powerhouse for generating leads, forming strategic partnerships and driving sales.
The problem is that most entrepreneurs, marketers, salespeople and professionals still don’t know how to fully leverage LinkedIn and it’s many features to achieve their business and career goals.
Marcus Murphy, executive sales leader at DigitalMarketer.com and a member of the LinkedIn customer advisory board, will offer an in-depth guide to getting the most out of LinkedIn, including attracting quality prospects, amassing a valuable network and growing your personal brand.
In this class, you’ll learn how to:
Class was great, and Marcus was a great speaker, interesting and fun to listen to. A lot of great content and advise that I will follow.
This is a good course. The only downside is that it is obviously now a few years since it was recorded and LinkedIn has moved on, for example LinkedIn Live (video) is there and the Mentor aspect has been removed. It would be great if Marcus could update this course, even though I recognize that LinkedIn continues to change. Other than that I learnt some very useful pointers.
Very good course. He speaks a bit too fast and the appropriate screen was not shown at time. It was hard to follow along, even when I stopped that class and rewound it. P.S. The mentoring feature is no longer available...
I watched this class twice yesterday. I have been on LI for more than a decade. In all the classes I have taken through college and beyond, I have never learned more on-point information in such a short span of time. I started putting it to use yesterday, and already it is yielding positive results. I cannot recommend this class, and this instructor, highly enough. Thank you so much Marcus. Hope you connect to me on LI! I post beautiful images daily to give my connections a morning smile. RobinConstableHanson
I’m a Gen X-er and have avoided LinkedIn for years. I definitely learned a lot about it, especially ways to maximize its use. Would have loved some even more basic information, especially strategies on how to connect with people when you don’t have a paid membership. HOW do you get to that magic 500+ contacts? (One way was groups...what else?) How do you connect with people when you’re not able to ping them? How do you adjust your settings to maximize quality connections (vs. marketing/spam connections?) How do you politely tell marketers to go away? I wanted more LinkedIn STRATEGY, tips + tricks.
LinkedIn is huge in Denmark where I live. Unfortunately, being a British citizen means that most of my network consists of fellow Brits, and LinkedIn isn't a platform many of them use. This course was great at giving me an insightful breakdown of what to do and why, and I'm already seeing better results on my LinkedIn profile.
Excellent content. Great price. I not realized how many ways LI could be used. LI will now be one of of my main marketing platforms.

Although this course is about Linkedin, it really provides an insight on you and developing a positive profile that reflects you or your company. The level of detail is ideal and what you learn can be applied in many areas of life. A useful aide-mémoire tool about you.
I will definitely say that this is a good course, I have been on Linkedin for some years now, and there are many things that I did learn from this course. Yes, I do need to go back, and optimise my profile (and, my company's), start practising some good habits. Yes, he speaks fast, but Marcus is clear so, if you pay attention, there is indeed much to be learned.
I thought I had already set up my LinkedIn to all-star levels, but Marcus showed me how much potential I still had left on my profile. Getting to know how to meaningfully articulate on my profile was invaluable and can see how it really makes you stand out from the rest!
Before taking this class, I had zero interest in Linkedin. I had looked at it YEARS ago and just thought it was a place to dump your resume in case you were looking for a job. I had NO IDEA you could advertise on it and build your business! Marcus is now one of my favourite CreativeLive instructors and I will watch for any new classes he puts out. If you want to learn a ton and be highly entertained at the same time, his classes are for you! This review is short, because I have so much work to get done building my presence on Linkedin!
