This is a wonderful "right size" course for anyone interested in that initial deeper delve into the technical and aesthetic aspects of photography. Loved every moment of it! And the Poem at the end brought tears to my eyes. You described "the Moment" which photographers capture to a tee... So inspiting. I highly recommend it!

Excellent class, comprehensive about the subject at this level. John presented all the different workings of the camera and qualities of good images with clear, interesting and pleasant manner. What a fantastic and inspirational verse to end with.

I've only just started this class but am very happy already. Was planning to skip the course as I know some basics but already in the shutter speed lesson there were several tips and explanations that really made sense and i feel like i've learned more in 20 minutes than I have from reading books or watching youtube over previous months. Excited to watch the rest of this course.

John Does a wonderful job of telling you he takes you from a beginner to the place where you are comfortable with your Camera so both of you fit like a Glove. I have many of his courses each one is very well laid out.

Really concise information in an easily digestible format. A great deal of information that even during a college course I found it hard to decipher; but, John presented it in a way I can understand and has added greatly to my confidence as a “non-auto” photographer. Looking forward to shooting again.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class and the instructor John Greengo. While I am not new to photography I decided to take this class to see if there were some basics that I had missed learning about. I loved of the visual aides and photographs in the sessions. This class was fun, informative and worth my time. I highly recommend this class and the instructor John Greengo. I will be looking for more of his classes.

Wonderful class. John is a great teacher, explaining photography in a real and understandable way. I am definitely going to take his other classes.

Expanded the patchwork of knowledge i had, brought together in a well explained, bitesize chunks and neatly packaged with a bow.

Spectacular class. I have the innate ability to forget everything I learn about manual settings on my camera, but John's visuals really help drive concepts home. I did some screenshots that I intend to reduce in size and laminate to use as an easy on-the-go reference until this becomes automatic for me. I intend to take his full-length Fundamentals class, as well as the Fast Start class for my new camera. Beyond that, I look forward to more classes about light and travel photography. Thanks for this brilliant start! :)

What an absolutely fabulous class. I have and continue to recommend this to everyone. I have a notepad literally filled with information that I have taken from it, it's taken a week to watch the whole class, but I have done it a few lessons at a time so I can process everything that I have taken in. I will certainly be watching more of his videos! I would like to know if he will be doing any more classes, as of 2020, some of these classes are quite a few years old.

Brilliant course! As a beginner, I'm impressed by the kind of shots I have been able to take after this class. I learnt a lot from the technical side of the class and feel inspired by the artistic side of the course. The latter is where experience & practice makes a world of difference so while I feel really comfortable and learnt astronomically with the technical side of the course, the artistic part of the course lets me know there is so much work I need to put in. But altogether it was a fantastic course. Thanks John

John is a great teacher, explains everything very clearly and organized. Any class by him is pretty much recommended by default.

Great refresher course for me. John's poem "The Moment" at the end reminded me why I keep trying to communicate how I see the world to others through my photos.
