Great pictures and ideas of how to approach a region to photograph.

I was just glued to the screen. Outstanding is one word for the valuable sharing of Art's experiences. Quality of the lessons in Creative Live is the best out there and the layout is extra ordinary.
-
This was one of the best courses I have ever taken with Creative Live. Art Wolfe is enthusiastic about photography and clearly showed how a background in art influences your vision in making images. I also enjoyed the editing of images in the last lesson. Some quick basic changes had a huge impact on the photos.
-
Wonderful presentation, so glad I purchased it. Art is inspiring as both an artist and a photographer. I learned so much from this course and really got the creative juices flowing.
-
It isn't the best online course I've ever done as it didn't actually make me do anything. However, I did put together a 20 page PowerPoint so I had something to look back on, and in doing so found out that I had learnt a lot of useful things. I have just enrolled in another of Art's courses because as an art photographer doing the type of art photography I admire, he can't be beaten.

This class is full of inspiration.... great pictures

I have listened to about a half hour so far and all of it is about Art Wolfe's life career travel and book. I thought it was supposed to be a class about learning something about photography. I give up.
-
I have going through the second video and I like this lecturer - Art Wolfe and the course. I like his photos. It is great I am getting a lot inspirational ideas. Many thanks
-

Art Wolfe is one of the premier nature photographers of the world with a career spanning several decades. I have always listened and learned from his insights. One of the most important aspects to consider, is how he explains to the prospective nature photographer, the conditions that were present when he made the photo. This type of information provides the student with situational awareness which teaches you how to see, and how to overcome obstacles in similar situations as you develop your mise-en-scene on location.
-
I purchase every class Art Wolfe teaches! It is a dream of mine to attend one of his workshops!!! Please keep bringing him back for more classes... I appreciate his vast knowledge as well as his dedication. His classes have helped me to learn to see in ways I never imagined I could. He is very simply, one of a kind. If I could meet anyone in the world, it would be him.
-
Thank You Art Wolfe for taking my photography up a notch. Your insightful critiques are invaluable. Learning is fluid and never ends. Thanks again. Excellent class well worth the investment.

OMG. When I bought this course (even with the holidays' discounts) I thought that perhaps it would be better to spend with a course that "teaches" techniques instead of reviewing other people's work. After watching it, I decide to go to my Lightroom to look at my previous work and I was so surprised to see the many pitfalls in my pictures in terms of cropping, clear message and even some patterns in why I shot something. I'll definitely buy more courses like this.
-
So inspiring, i couldn't stop watching!

While the photos were stunning and Mr. Wolfe is obviously a world class photographer, I did not find this course all that useful as a means to take better pictures. This course is more of a showcase of his work, than a truly instructional course. The first two lessons were interesting and gave an insight into the instructors approach to photography. The third lesson had nothing to do with nature photography, unless you define nude bodies as nature. The best part of the course was about composition and how to improve that aspect of photography. The last three lessons were three travelogues. If you are interested in getting some technical instruction on how to take better nature photographs, this may not be the course for you.
-
I was, kind of, addicted to this class. I did see some critiques that a lot of this is not about nature photography. I agree, partially, Painted bodies are a part of nature, and the way that Art has woven those into the lessons, make those images all about seeing. It is a brilliant class, in the sense that he teaches you how to tap into your passion, how to see, how to crop, and how to keep your energy and enthusiasm alive through the years of doing photography. His love for, and feel for nature, is evident. The manner in which he interacts with the class is joyful indeed. This is an addictive tutorial
-
Amazing class! Art is a wonderful story teller, captivating his audience. This class has inspired me to look at a composition in a much different way.
-
I love Art's style and the time he takes to explain his methods and how he draws inspiration from his art background and nature. Amazing photographer and human. Inspiration plus.
-
One thing I love about this class is Art Wolfe shares the way he approaches a scene and what his thought process is. The lens and composition portion helped me take my photography to the next level. I also learned so much from listening to him critique photos. Learning from one of the worlds best photographers. Awesome stuff!
-
I enjoyed this course greatly. Art has a very well prepared presentation and he covers mostly the artistic aspects of photography. His emphasis on line, pattern and texture in his lecture on abstract photography was very helpful to me. I love his enthusiasm and insights.
-
There's no mistaking Art Wolfe's passion for photography and his dedication to stepping gently on our planet. This course is, at the very least, inspiring -- and the photos are beautiful. The video was a great way to get this (me) Winter time armchair photographer, up and out the door. Thanks to Art for his dedication, professionalism, and love of special people and places.
-
An interesting and worthwhile class but a lot of it is NOT nature photography. Lessons 1 & 2 are more Art Wolfe biography. Lesson 3 is an indoor shoot of naked, painted bodies. Lessons 10, 11, and 12 are just rebroadcasts of Travels to the Edge and much of 10 & 11 are on culture, not nature.
-
Love the content but the site and how it works (especially the videos) is cumbersome and REALLY needs some help. A number of items in that realm, one is to set things up so it at the least remembers what videos I have already watched. The other would be that it does not progress well through each one in sequential order (or the next one AFTER the one I watched). I also had a lot of trouble with buffering and often the video wouldn't start or would start in fast forward. So technical difficulties - not a recommend, content definitely a recommend.

Nice to have well known and our local world famous Art Wolfe to critiques our works.Glad to have a chance to have him critique my Hummigbird image with a top score. Is like to me winning an award. Thanks Creative live for the opportunity.
