This is a good introduction to HTML5 and CSS. The instructor explains things well and I was engaged the whole way through. It is however a bit short. Understandable but I wanted more so I've tracked down a longer course by this same instructor. Still if you just need to understand the basics this is a good place to start.

I took a lot of notes and worked along, I really feel so much wiser about HTML and CSS now. Great class for beginners, well explained.

I am completely new to web design and this video has been a great purchase. I now understand the basics very clearly. I am also happy with the way Chris talks and explains, as I am not an English native speaker and sometimes class contents might not be difficult but the speaker is. Definitely not the case. I used the subtitles and watched each video a couple of times. Highly recommend it for beginners like me!

Chris, thanks so much for having such a well organized an insightful class. I took the class because I'm working on some redesigns for my personal website and the hosting templates weren't quite getting me to the level of fit and finish I envisioned. To be honest, I was a little nervous and intimidated by html/css initially, but you helped me conquer the fear. I look forward to taking some of the lessons (after a few more views of the classes that is :) ) to my website achieve my vision. Wishing you all the best. Take care.

Awesome. So simple and very informative if you are slightly aware of HTML and CSS but aren't sure about using them to construct a page. If you have been relying on templates to build your site and dabbled with a little code to improve them....this class will take you much further. If you've relied on templates and have been frustrated by the limitations of them then this class will help you being to understand how web pages actually work. If you're wanting to take more control over your pages then this is the class to start with! Can't wait to to take his other classes. Super easy to follow and very informative!

I thoroughly enjoyed this Intro course to Sketch by Chris. He broke things down and explained things clearly, and it was great to see the layout come together. I picked up so many tips and tricks, which I hadn't come across before from youtube tutorials. I would definitely recommend this Intro course.

I think this class was way over my head.

I appreciated Chris' direct approach and simple explanations. I've been developing and teaching website development for 20+ years, and enjoyed his pacing and resources. This was a solid, straight-forward introduction for new designers.

Chris is really clear on explaining how things work on sketch. He makes it fun and easy to follow along as we go.

Great class if you don't know much at all about Sketch. If you've played around with Sketch before I'd skip this one as it's pretty basic.

Great course if you don't know much about HTML and CSS. If you know the basics then I'd skip this one and watch "Creating Your First Web Page (with code!)" because that class is more advanced for designers.
