I would recommend anyone interested in Calligraphy to take this course. I liked that she took the time to explain the basic strokes and the importance of practice. I also enjoy her being authentic letting me know that with all her years of doing this she still does warm up strokes before tackling a project.

The instructor provides some good examples of different ways you can address envelopes, with tips and tools to enhance your project. It would be useful if we could set the playback to a faster speed, since she can be a bit wordy :)

Fantastic class! I was able to design and print a wedding invitation within one week after purchasing the class. Instructor is great at simplifying the information.

I'm trying to be patient as she gets through the list of class materials, but she seems very nervous and says, "Um," about 100 times! Fortunately, there is a PDF of the class supplies, so I will not have to listen to this part!

Great course for the beginner. My only complaint, and it's not really a complaint, just an observation, is that she could have refrained from using the word like and basically. I think these words are now getting ingrained into our culture and to me, who is of another generation, is annoying.

The teacher was very clear and funny. She made the class very enjoyable.

I was immediately drawn to this class because the camera work caught the find detail I was looking for. Love the calligraphy style itself and seeing each letter drawn with Bianca's explanation of why certain things are done, such as relationships to lines, was very helpful. I had been looking online for very specific information on pen angle AND nib angle, and this video cleared up some questions I had. Also, information concerning how much ink to use (covering the vent hole) solved another issue I was having. I also like that Bianca emphasized the basic strokes for daily practice. Also Bianca explained how she stops and starts for specific letters and this helped me figure out some issues I was having. This is my favorite of 5 online calligraphy courses I have done online! Thanks for offering it.

I love this teacher! She is funny, her classes are easy to follow and this one is no exception. In this class, the teacher present 4 different monograms and we are then invited to create our own using these techniques. The steps are easy to follow and give awesome results!

Very informative and there is always something new to learn from Khara. She's awesome and she explains things and deliver information in a simplistic way. I really recommend this class and any class that Khara teaches.

Great class for introductory calligraphy! The camera angles make it easy for you to really study her hand strokes too. She teaches you the basic strokes and goes through each alphabet so it's the perfect speed to follow and practice along to. One thing I wish I had done was bought the proper calligraphy pens with the nibs, along with the calligraphy lined paper.

I am loving this class. It helped me so much in getting my letters right, and cleared a lot of problems for me.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. Instructions were clear and Kiana's work was beautiful. She gave excellent tips to simplify bouquet assembly. Based on this course, I created the bouquets for my daughter's wedding and they were a huge success.

I found this class incredibly helpful. In fact, after this class I hand-addressed all of my wedding invitation envelopes using the calligraphy skills and materials I learned here. They turned out beautifully, I got a ton of compliments, and I didn't have to pay a professional hundreds of dollars to do it! The course itself is focused and packed with information. I liked it so much I bought another course from the instructor. I haven't taken it yet, but I'm looking forward to doing it this fall when my work schedule eases up a bit.
