Identifying your buyer persona with ChatGPT
In this case, we are starting with a clean chat, a new chat. If you already have a buyer persona, you can use the same chat that you used before where you discover where you work with chat GP T to get to your buyer persona. In this case, we are starting from scratch. So if you don't know where to start, start with me here from scratch new chat, we are coming here to chat GP T and we are using this prompt saying help me to identify my target audience, ask follow up questions until you have all the information you need to create a buyer persona and target audience for my business. Let's see what what happened here. So we have here. It was, is asking now, OK. Um Tell me more some basic information about your business, what products you offer and this will help me to understand your audience. So first we'll add, we will send him information about what we sell, who is the target audience. And after that, the charge GP T will send you a few questions to have a more detailed information about...
them. So let's do that. Uh We said we are an online education company that creates online training and courses about digital marketing. For example. OK, of course, you will add here your exact uh description for your business. Uh Let's see, let's go with this. Let's see what happened. OK, great. Let's start with some basic questions to identify your target. Oh, yes. Here are the questions that I talk about. Uh we have 10 questions so we will reply one by one. And again, I will do it really quick here, but I want you to spend time here giving as much details as you can for chat GP T So number one, who is your ideal customers? Business honors on entrepreneurs. Excellent. I will press shift and enter to go to the next line. What is their uh age range, let's say to 45. Number three, what is their gender? Both men and women? Four the level of education, high degrees, let's say number five, we have, what is their occupation or industry? Not sure. I'm not sure. So if you are not sure, just put, not sure or you can say help me to identify that. So it will ask you follow up questions about that specific uh question. Where do they live all over the war? Number seven? Um What are their interest and hobbies, technology, um marketing, sales and passive income, for example, number eight, what are their pin points challenges when coming to digital marketing? OK. So what is uh I tell, I tell Cha GP T that this is the thing that I work with. This is my industry in this case is digital marketing. So now this is an important question. What is, what are the pain points or challenges regarding your, your your topic, digital marketing. On my case, I'll say that they are having a hard time creating ads, creating uh an online presence and using digital marketing to grow their business. OK. Next number nine, how they typically consume content? I think it is is covered by the prom. So let's say they read blogs, uh social media on youtube, for example. OK, let's go with this. Let's see what happened. We, we forgot about the, the, the, the last question, but that's fine. You see here, it created a buyer persona for us. This is fantastic. This is what we want. So it's creating an ideal customer for us is saying, OK, the ideal, the buyer persona name is Sara. Age 35. She's female education, bachelor's and master's degree occupation. She's entrepreneur and, and and and small business owner, location anywhere in the world. Hobbies technology sales, passive income, pain points, difficult creating ads, content, consumption, motivation, and all the information about the target. So now cha GP T knows Sara, which is your buyer persona. Now we are ready to go to the next step of the funnel where we are creating leads and not leads actually uh uh uh lead magnet for this buyer persona. OK. See you there.
