Why You Must Get Product Samples
in this video, we're gonna talk about why you should order a product sample. So you're really probably thinking why do I even need to order a product sample? It's probably just a waste of my money and my time because it can cost almost like $100. Um but I have to tell you it's incredibly worth it. Having a product sample will really give you insight to this supplier as well as the product they're providing you with. Its an important process that's integral to everything we do and how we can continue to build a full relationship with your supplier as well as get the right product on amazon. So I'm gonna talk about a couple of things that why this is important. Number one communication. So sure you've already dealt with your supplier, communicate with them and you know, it's important because you can keep communicating through alibaba chat and various other communication forms, but this is a different ball game, you're really going to understand how they actually communicate when you wan...
t to get something from them. So they're not gonna get much out of this, They make zero profit on any of these samples and they're really just trying to give it to you so you can order the rest of the product. So they really need to provide their best foot forward here. But during this process, you can tell if they have good english if they're actually giving you what they want in a clear process. Also you're going to pay them for a sample and you're gonna see how fast they ship it based on the shipping methods, are they a reliable. Supplier is really important for communication next And # two Product Quality. So there's this weird thing in china, there's actually about three different types of qualities for almost every single product that they make. They vary from bad to a plus plus and they're very from supplier to supplier with names, but really bad to good. And these product qualities will actually show in your sample. For example, if you look at an IPhone case that they can come apart and you have a little notches on them, I'll talk about this more in a later video. But it's really important during the sample, you can see what quality product they're giving you and if it meets your standards, number three pricing. So you might have thought, oh, I'm done with negotiation. The supplier gave me something I need, but you're not done here. You can actually negotiate further. You can either negotiate on quality or on price and I'm gonna talk about this a little more and how you can actually negotiate. But this also tells you one other thing, the price on amazon. So you might have a price that you know, you want on amazon. But does this pricing make sense for the quality product you received? And can you actually sell this product you have right here for that price on amazon now that you have a sample. And finally, supplier relationships very, very important. I'm gonna actually cover this more depth, but supplier relationships are incredibly important. They're really a partner to your business and you want a partner that can make you succeed as well.
