There are two ways that you can advertise on Instagram. The first way is to promote a post through the app itself and that's a very basic way to run ads. I kind of call it Instagram 101. You go into the app, you choose the post that you want to be um promoting and then you set it and you forget it. The second way is to go into facebook ads manager, which is a much more robust platform where you can choose your target audience, figure out your budgeting strategy as well as um select the right placement for that ad. You also get a lot more flexibility when it comes to reporting and optimization in ads manager. In this course we're going to cover both ways of advertising. We're going to start with the promoted posts and then we're going to spend quite a bit of time deep diving into how to best use facebook ads manager to be able to create compelling campaigns on instagram.
