elcome to the power shift Global Book tour. You know where we start to start really telling you about, Um you know why I created this book and I wanted to write to what annoyed every single one of you extremely busy today trying to figure out what you're doing in life. And I created this book because, you know, I've written barest amount of bullets over the course of the last couple of years. Actually, this is my fifth poor, but my third in five years and being some way, that is this lesson. It's extremely challenging to write books. But I felt that I felt that in my previous books I told people how to make money without, you know, having money. I told people had arrived and grind, and you were there 24 hours better than anybody else in the world. But people still came up to me in the streets or speaking, or when I was consulting in, saying You gave me all those simple but get I need somebody to help me or need some. Somebody took away all my power or somebody won't give me power, my job or my family. And I realized that people didn't couldn't couldn't go ahead and move forward in life of any of the other two gave them. Unless they believe in themselves. They had the power. They realized that nobody is going to ever give you power. Close you didn't come to that is. Maybe someone will find out that you and I together and maybe you and them to work together. And you guys can become more powerful together. And so what? There's four parts of the book on This is really relevant today because everybody today is really searching for how they can now shift. They are either employed and they're scared. They're gonna lose their job. They're unemployed, your and theirs. They conclude their business. They are doing really well with their businesses right now. And they're hoping that it's not just a halo Oprah moment, And how are they gonna maximize this? Some people are coming out of school and they're saying, Wait a minute. The whole world has changed. I went to school for degree for this, and now the entire world has changed. But it all starts in four different processes on what you have to do. Number one. You have to know your wife the part of negotiation That's a vote's important part of negotiations. Did you? Your Why Why are you doing this? What do you expect the outcome to be? How are you going to travel down that road? To get the things that you want out of there, One of the tools you need to put yourself with to get goat results. The second part is building influence and on shark that I believe that we've spoiled a lot of people. People believe now because of Star Tank, that within eight minutes you could walk in the room, say hello of sharks. And after that you are rich. Eight minutes later because of the heart negotiation you just had going back and forth myself. Kevin O Leary, Barbara and market things that. But it's not like that. Almost the first time you ever meet anybody or negotiate with anybody, nothing comes out of it. It's really the first date. And what they do, would they go back to the influence you have built, whether with devil weather, with others or whether here on this little device called social media. So number one that is the first thing that you have to do is build influence. Then you negotiate and you negotiate for what's in it for the person you're negotiating for. And the final one is. How do you value a nurse of the relationships to get 10 more deals done out of that, or at least have them tell 10 more other people that you were the person that they need to have their life, maybe to work with. So I wanted people to be able to take control of their lives and really, really be able to create true change and tapping into your ability to build influence the gold shape for the things you need and want and nurture relationships. Take you where you want to go. How did I do this? I am a student as well. I walk down the path and I decided to interview key people that I know and keep people that I did not know to find out how they created power shifts in their life. I realized that I had gone from being a little kid who was dyslexic, left back with no money in the hood. I didn't go to college, too, creating a global brand, And then I shifted over there and became a New York Times best selling off, But then I shifted again and became somebody who's been on a television show for 11 seasons when that is only 4% of the television show that ever existed. I also shifted, become true, uh, Angel Investor and Grow Barris, different companies. And that is exactly what I did. And I went to study other people that did that, such as Kris Jenner could Bull Lindsey Vonn Cuban, Also the producer Startek, who've seen over 5000 pitches. The sharks have only seen only 1000. I also interviewed people that you would not commonly know, but they created old power shift in their life. And and one woman I'm gonna give the example of her name is Krystle and she she worked at a college and she decided to take maternity lead, goes home and has a premature baby. And now she stuck at home like all of us are now, and she's raising her child. But during the time raising her child, she decided to understand how the world virtually now this is two years ago before we'll ever doing exactly what we're doing now. Why did she do that? Because she wanted to be able to add value to the university. She worked that because she knew what she was going to pitch up. A negotiation here that's having negotiation went, You know, I worked with you and I still want to come back at my materially. But I have a premature baby. I need to stay at home to raise my child. I learned how to work Berkeley, and now I get even more hours. Just cut some of my hours in the office, and then I'll take some of ours at home where I can be able to over provide for you what the university said we love. But truly, we can't do that. That's the policy here. I'm sorry. Well, she had to leave. She now works for a company named Blaze. She doesn't work for the company visitors. She's actually her own employer, and she gives me 30 hours a week, 35 hours a week. When this pandemic pain down, I said, Can you give me 45 hours a week to show my team how work more efficiently? Virtually. And she works another company 10 or hours. She makes hours up. She wants to work. She doesn't have to track the snow with the heat or going to an officer, risk herself out there with Cove it and she gets to raise our child and making more money now than she ever made before her life that she makes up her own hours, and that is a true power shift. So we're here to talk to you about those type of ways that you can create moments of true change in your life by identifying your wife radiant ones, negotiating, valuing the relationships.

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Through never-before-told stories from his life and career, Daymond shares the lessons that got him to where he is today: from how he remade his public image as he transitioned from clothing mogul to television personality, to how he mastered the negotiation strategies that determine whether deals are won or lost “in the tank,” to his secrets for building long-lasting—and profitable—relationships with founders and brands.
Throughout the book, some of the world’s most successful personalities reveal how they shifted their power in meaningful ways:
Kris Jenner on determining your value: “You don’t have to go ask somebody else for permission. You have the power to be able to stick to your guns and demand your worth.”
Mark Cuban on finding and understanding your why: “Time is the one asset we don’t own, we can’t buy, and we can never get back.”
Pitbull on tapping into your inner power: “A lot of people feel that to be powerful is to exude strength. I think it’s the total opposite. To be powerful is to be powerless. It’s when you give everybody what you got.”
