Thank you for having me. Truly an opportunity to come to a place like this, especially you guys in the audience, I mean, how amazing is their office, the culture? And I've sat down with a lot of companies, I've been through their processes, I've done a lot of coaching, but these guys are so dialed in. Like, every single, they got check sheets, they got people for, it's just crazy. So I'm really impressed, and I've already learned a ton just from being in your guys' presence, so, now it's all about me. (audience laughing) Now we're gonna switch it up a little bit, so. Who's Billy Gene, for those of you who don't know me? I'm pretty basic, that's my parents right there up top. That's my girlfriend and that's our daughter. It's, really just, that's our office in downtown San Diego. That's it, I'm just like you guys. I'm just a guy who understands how to sell on Facebook. Continuing on, companies I've worked with. We've done a lot in the health and wellness space from your Corepower Yogas ...
to your Dave & Buster's to your European Wax Centers to your Kia Motors to your CrossFit, to anything! I've literally, it doesn't matter if it's B2B, physical products, whatever it is, like, that's my background, that's what I do. So, hopefully, actually I'm gonna challenge all of you today, is when I'm teaching a concept, I want you guys to focus on "How does this apply to me?" Because it's very easy to watch something and then say, "Well, that's not my industry "so I can't learn anything right now." That's a loser mentality. Winners look at something and say, "Wow, I get that tactic. "Here's how I'm gonna apply it to my business." So that's what I challenge everybody at home to do, is to figure out a way, and I'll try and give a lot of examples and hot seats and all that good stuff. Continuing on, I'm actually a teacher, and so I've run an agency for the last five years, but teaching has been like a core to my soul for the last three years. And the reason why I love it is because, unfortunately, when you go to college, there's no class called "How To Turn Clicks Into Customers on Facebook." (audience laughing) And it's funny, and we laugh about it, but it's also sad. Because every single person who starts a business, the very first place they goes is, "Well dang it, how am I going to leverage social media?" There's no where to learn it! And then the other half of it is that a bunch of people who had success one time and think they're now qualified to be a teacher. So who do you trust? Billy Gene Child the third at CreativeLive. Alright. (audience laughing) So a little bit about our teaching. It's completely different, I teach once a week on Tuesdays. We got about 3,000 people paying 109 bucks a month, and then people who wanna learn how to start an agency, 'cause that's my background, we got about 500 people paying five grand every six months. So, I get to teach something that schools don't teach, and I get to charge a lotta money for it too, which is pretty cool! So thank you schools for not teaching this, I, it's, 'kay. My thing is advertising. On Facebook our ads have been viewed 162 million times. On Instagram, 1.8 million times, and YouTube, our ads have been seen 77,953,000 times with about 42, I don't even know that number, minutes of watch time, big number. It's a lot, it's a lot of advertising. And the reason why I'm telling you guys all this is because people don't buy from people they don't trust, and that's what we're gonna focus on today. So, I would take notes on this first part right here. When it comes to selling on Facebook, you need to transfer three trusts. Number one is a trust in you! If you met someone in person, they're going to buy from you because they like you, the like the personality, like their energy. For some reason when it comes to online, we forget all about that. You're selling yourself first! So how come all of your advertisements right now are talking about your product, and the design, and the manufacturing, and all this other crap that nobody actually cares about? So, that's number one, trust in you. Number two is the trust in your product, but only after they already know, like, and trust you. Now you can introduce your product. And then the third is the trust in your company. What's your mission, what do you stand for? Why you instead of the next person, got it? So this goes beyond Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, like most of the things I'm gonna teach you today, but just understand, if you do not have these three trusts, guess what? You're not gonna close. How many of you here in this audience today, and at home, are here because you have social, you're pretty decent at engagement, you're pretty good at organic stuff, but you have no idea how to monetize it enough to pay your bills and to live the life you want? Raise your hands high, raise your hands at home too! Which camera's on, which, gimme one! Raise your hands at home too! I want you to look weird! I want your partner or your roommate to look at you in the room, be like, "Why are you raising your hand dude? "You're looking at a computer screen." That's who I want you to be right now! If that's you put it in the chat, "Yeah, that was me." I can't even see the chat right now, but I just wanna know, 'kay. So, (laughs) continuing on. So what's the dilemma that this particular course helps solve, is everyone's on social right now but nobody knows how to monetize it. Not Facebook, not Instagram, not YouTube, anything that has to do with online. So, my promise of this class is I'm gonna show you how to get customers for any industry and any niche, B2B, B2C, or physical products, or a photographer, or a real estate agent, or a blog, it doesn't matter! You hafta accept this truth, it's all the same thing. So if you're excited about that, can we clap? (audience clapping) Wait, this is, can we go to the audience cam for a second? This is funny because everyone's like, "Oh, I'm in a studio audience, I should clap for real." This is what Ellen and Steve Harvey feel like, they, like, have that advantage of the studio. Let's clap again, let's do it! (audience clapping and laughing) 'Cause you just, you look like a mean person if you don't clap, like, you didn't participate, you just look bad, so, thank you CreativeLive for that set up, it's appreciated. So how are we gonna get there? Following these two basic principles. Entertain, educate, execute, write that one down. Entertain, educate, execute, especially if you have a service industry, really important, entertain, educate, execute. And the second, advertise, capture, sell. Advertise, capture, sell. Now I'm gonna hold your hand and we're gonna walk through each of these steps today.
