Adobe Photoshop CC Bootcamp with Blake Rudis

Blake Rudis is the absolute best in teaching photoshop. His knowledge and how he presents the instruction is clear and concise - there is NO ONE BETTER. Yes, his classes require some basic skills, and maybe I'd organize the order of (or group) the classes in a different order, but, let me be clear - if anyone is to be successful or famous in the Photoshop world, it should be Blake Rudis. I strongly recommend his teaching. I started photography and post processing in 2018, and because of this class, I'm know what Im doing. The energy you get when you create something beautiful is profound, it makes you bounce out of bed (at 4AM) like a 5 year old, to go create. It's a great ride! Thanks Blake, & Thanks Creative live.

This course is packed with so much useful! mind blowing information. I u Have been using different aspects of Photoshop for years, but for the first time I am really beginning to understand its scope and powers, thanks to Blake’s excellent teaching. The course is very well organized and is presented in an interesting and understandable way. As examples I never really understood how to use the blend modes, blend if, or color grading! But after a few lectures, I am now able to use these tools to transform my images to the next level. I definitely recommend this CL course.

Blake has an amazing ability to convey photoshop concepts by a combination of light-lecturing and hands on manipulation of images. I always quit other lecture-heavy Photoshop courses as they were "technically sound" but my retention was very low. With this I learnt the simple "good-practices" that incents me to play around and learn impact of effects and moods. Well taught Blake!

OMG!!! Speechless. This is what you call a complete guide, a Bootcamp in its true sense. Thank you so much. It felt like boring as hell and daunting in the first lesson but by the end of the course I salute Blake and CL team to put this together. This course is not about particular Photoshop tips and tricks ( you can learn that from You Tube), its a Diploma course to make you understand and learn Photoshop so that you can create your own endless magic. Some of these sessions are great, well organized and explained. However, several are all over the place as Blake seems to be rambling and somewhat lost in what he is trying to convey. Not sure why but I believe he is trying to remain within a time constraint that isn't appropriate for the subject matter.

Very good class! Blake is an effective teacher. Lots of information to digest so it was great to be able to pause and practice or to take notes. One point of feedback on the recording of the training. There is a camera angle that you jump back and forth with that is not as effective as it could be. Often Blake is working on menus in the lower right of the big screen while the desk he is standing at is blocking that 15% of the screen. The camera person tries to shift to full screen quickly but often not soon enough and Blake has moved on to another step. If the camera angle could be shifted or the desk moved one foot farther to the right the problem would be solved. Thanks very much for a great class!

Big bootcamp course on Photoshop! Did many Photoshop Courses this one is a nice refresher. For both beginner to advanced Photoshopusers. The teacher is knowledgable, experienced and engaging. The first part of the course is a bit theoretical. Only downsite of Creatieve Live course is there are no projectfiles included.

Not only have I consumed this course in large, consecutive chunks, but I've dipped back into various parts from time to time. A great resource for anyone not yet fully familiar with Photoshop.

Blake is the man! I save and watch, rewatch, rewatch,... his videos because he has something for Everyone. Every time I rewatch his videos I learn something new. As I progress in knowledge I have more and more “a ha” moments. Sometimes I get 2” in a video and have to hit pause and let the information sink in. He challenges you with “why to” not just “how to.”

Blake is awesome. He’s advanced and I need a slower approach. 😊

I like that Blake tries to help the viewer understand how all of the pieces work together and influence one another, which I think is essential knowledge in order to understand the depth of the subject he is teaching. His personality helped me stay engaged and interested as well. I have found myself referring back to this course plenty of times, since I have purchased it. I believe this to be a comprehensive and detailed course, worth every penny.

I would recomend it. Overall it is a cery good course and approachable. However, following along at home is difficult with ALL the Photoshop tutorials on Creative Live. All teachers need to bear in mind the pace of going from step one to finished step in demo needs to happen at a pace that can be followed. I find myself rewinding 15 to 20 times to get thru what was covered in 15 seconds on screen. Also, another instructor goes into excruciating detail extremely often to point out tips that only a very very very very few people will find useful. He points out that there is someone who will find this useful. This class and instructor does present the material in a very approachable and non intimidating manner. Thank you. Just a little more explenation on steps taken to achieve a task at a little slower pace. Thank you for the approachability on a very complex subject.

Concise, detailed, easy to follow and just the right amount of redundancy. This course is fantastic! This is a dry subject and one I have seen other instructors subsequently rush through in hopes not to loose their audience. Blake takes his time, injects humor, warmth and personal experiences making this a "lively" course indeed. I am a fan of Kelby and Matt K but Blake gives them both a run for their money with this course.

Plain and simple --- Get this course if you are even a tiny above beginner. You WILL use it all

I am a very experienced Photoshop user. But I am always looking for a well taught Photoshop course as a refresher and to pick up new ideas and practices. I have been a fan of Blake Rudis' for several years as he's one of the best teachers on the Internet. This course, even with my knowledge and experience with Bridge, ACR and Photoshop, is worth every penny. I do wish I had caught the Memorial Day sale but I have already gotten my money's worth and I am only through a few of the sessions.

I'm been using Bridge, Adobe Raw and Photoshop for 12 years. I thought I knew those programs until I started to follow Blake and do this Photoshop CC Bootcamp. This course is AMAZING. I love the way Blake teach, brakes down concepts and tools... excellent teaching qualities! I'm half way in this course and I change all my workflow already. Much better results and better use of what Adobe offer me. This course is an investment! When I will be done, I will listen it again. Great job and congratulations on your success Blake!

I cannot thank Blake enough for putting this course together. I have learned so much and I'm only half way though the course! Blake is an awesome teacher in every way you would want a teacher to be. He is able to explain a very complex subject as Photoshop in a way that is easy to understand and makes the learning fun. I have been using PS for about 8 years. I feel I have learned a lot since I first opened this program but knew there was way more to know. I can't wait to see what else I will learn as I finish the rest of this course. I am enjoying and benefiting greatly from the material and the presentation experience is beneficial. Blake is easy to follow and understand.. Hard to read text on download file list - poor color contract. Would prefer having a list of all files so I know i have reviewed them all..

WOW!!! I've been purchasing CL classes for several years now and have watched HOURS of "How-To Photoshop" classes, but this is the first one I've actually purchased because of the AWESOME BONUS content!!! SERIOUSLY??!!?!? A PLUG-IN??? But not only that, Blake is SO easy to understand, and he breaks down concepts in different ways to connect with different people's learning styles. I REALLY appreciated this approach because I am a LEFT-BRAINED creative that has an engineering background, so I really connected to what Blake was saying. THANK YOU FOR THAT! There are TONS of Photoshop courses out there, but I found this one to be the most helpful in they way Blake teaches concepts so that you know WHY you're doing what your doing. I feel like he taught me how to fish with Photoshop to feed me for a lifetime instead of just giving me a fish to feed me for one day. This is the BEST overall PS course out there!!! Thank you!!!!
