ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Jared Platt is a professional wedding and lifestyle photographer from Phoenix, Arizona. Jared holds a Masters of Fine Arts in the Photographic Studies and a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Photography from Arizona State University and has been a professional photographer and college educator for the past 12 years and has been a speaking, debating and lecturing for the past 17 years. His attention to detail and craft make him a demanding photography instructor. Jared has lectured at major trade shows and photo conferences as well as at universities around the world on the subject of photography as well as workflow. Currently, Jared is traveling the United States and Canada teaching and lecturing on photography and post production workflow.

My favorite printing class and I've taken quite a few. A lot of very helpful information in a short amount of time. I already owned a Colorchecker passport, so now I know how to make the most of it.

Perfect for my needs on calibrating the colour on my camera and monitor. I was struggling with using the colour checker passport as it was designed to be used. Jared's instructions simplified everything for me and was a piece of cake to implement. Now my camera and monitor are calibrated and I understand how to use the colour checker passport out in the field if lighting conditions are different to my master camera profile. Now I am going to make master profiles for my iPhone and my point and shoot.

This class, as far a I could tell, did NOT tell how to get consistent color between LR and PS which is what was advertised. The rest of the class was good but I particularly watched for just that one issue LR/PS. Disappointed.
