Using aerial views for landscape photography adds a distinguishing flare to your portfolio. But how do you create images that stand out in an industry flooded with beautiful imagery? World-renowned landscape and aerial photographers Peter Eastway and Tony Hewitt are going to show you how to create a stand-out portfolio using the techniques they’ve developed throughout their award-winning careers. In their class, you will learn:
This is a unique opportunity to learn from two photography masters as they share their industry-specific expertise.
As a landscape photographer this was one of the most informative presentations I've heard.
This is by far the best photography course I've watched. Strongly recommend it.
This is so much fun! Such great advice and so much to learn but they keep it engaging the whole time!
This is one of the best classes, both of them are really good photographers and instructors, I have learned many things that I hope to put in practice.
One of the best classes I have taken in Creative Live. A fantastic and inspiring discussion of the creative process, presented in a practical and entertaining format.
Highly recommend. I am a big fan of both Tony and Peters work and this course shares some great ideas about following your own journey in photography while sharing their own experiences to help you succeed.
Best course on Creative Live so far. Two of the best contemporay landscape / fine art photographers sharing their knowledge in a light hearted way. Jam packed with a lot of very useful information and insight into the mind of 2 masters of photography. This is not a course about specific technical skills but more on asking yourself why you take pictures, what do you want to convey, examples of how you do it, how to present your work... Thoroughly enjoyed it !
This course was given to me as a present and what a great present it turned out to be. As a photographer, with 55 years of experience, I am constantly watching the how to videos to improve on my skills. This course was so refreshing in that it was more about the creative process, emotional process and their passion for what they do. These are the types of things that inspire me to continue to improve. Thank you Peter and Tony for a great presentation.
Too often we sit, listen, take notes and are inspired to take some actions. (mostly) I must say "22 - Getting your vision across", resonated on many levels and that one lesson makes this class worth every cent. Whilst we are all in different phases of life I really compliment Tony and Peter on having deeply touched upon what I want to convey in my own photography. Passion of the tutors is conveyed on many levels.
Loved the positive energy of this class. Just finished watching it and I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to take their landscape photography to the next level. This course is not about learning camera or software skills, but learning how to develop conceptualizing and composing skills. How an award winning creatives mind works is a lot more important than how to use camera. This is exactly what I was looking for and very happy with my purchase. Also it was good to see some of their raw vs post processed files to learn how far the professionals like Tony and Peter go with post processing (Something I have always been concerned about). Knowledge about exhibiting was also priceless. Thank you, I have learnt a lot in this class and I am sure it will reflect in my work in future.
Peter and Tony's presentation style is informal and engaging, and their approach to photographic art is very unique. Their focus is on art, and while they use nature photography as the basis for their art they use a lot of post production artistry as well. They go over a lot of their post production techniques in this class, and the artistry that they apply in post is as impressive as their finished images.
I just finished the course today and I was impressed. This is a course that is worth your hard earned cash. It was informative and entertaining.
I found Peter and Tony to be very inspiring in this course and would recommend it to any one who is thinking about getting into Fine Art Landscape photography. This course was less about formulas and more about the mindset of you, the artist, and how your brain is the most important part of the creating process. This class felt like a 400 level college course where you learn how to bring all the things you learned earlier in your studies to fruition as a master artist.
Two Aussie blokes just having fun. Peter and Tone did us proud by representing the spirit of Australia, which is: don’t take anything too seriously. They hit off each other well, in fact, they are the best twosome I’ve ever seen on Creative Live, each giving the other respectful space yet not being shy about taking the micky out of the other guy when appropriate. The whole dialogue was spirited, informative, casual and fun. They also perfectly proved the symbiotic relationship between red wine and beautiful photography.
Packed full of great information and the conversational way it was delivered made it delightful!
The most productive two days I’ve spent in a long time. This class was educational, inspiring, and affirming. The information in the class was great and easy to follow, mostly due to Peter and Tony’s relaxed and personable presentation style and the obvious mutual respect they have for each other. I have a website for my photography but don’t sell very much. I am often told that it is because I don’t take the same kind of photos as most other people. This class let me know that what I am doing, my interpretation, is okay! Thank you for that, Mates!
This class is fabulous! One of the best on Creative Live. Peter and Tony share so much of themselves and their great art that you can't help but want to pick up your camera and get out to shoot. It was like watching two close friends. Thanks very much for a very enjoyable 2 days of learning and viewing.
Great class!!! Thank you for your entertaining, funny and knowledge based class. Vielen Dank und lieben Gruß aus Hamburg, Germany.
Top notch material taught by two world class photographers. The content of this class both confirmed my own approach to photography as well as gave me many great ideas where I can improve and take my work to the next level.
Great class. Thoroughly enjoyed the tandem presentation-opportunity to hear and see different view points. Highly highly recommend.
Very inspiring class! Was happy that my photograph was picked up for a live critique session :) Took a lot of notes, definitely still ways to improve my post-production techniques... It's almost 3 am here in Abu Dhabi, but I couldn't stop watching! Thank you Peter and Tony!
Excellent discussions, philosophical approaches, and practical approaches to photography, and how to present your photos.
Very interesting and inspiring class! Lot of tips for moderating the creative process.
Peter and Tony gave a heart felt, honest presentation. thank you
Well done Peter and Tony!!! I attended a seven day workshop in 2016 in the Daintree Q. Australia, where Peter was the guest speaker. Great person and educator. This class was my first experience learning from Tony. Absolutely loved the content and insight on offer. Thanks to Creative Live, Peter and Tony.
