High Fashion Wedding Photography with Brett Florens

Excellent course. If you work hard, you can be successful in this industry. Instructor started at zero and now he is shooting high end weddings.

Even though this class was in 2013, it is sooo relevant for 2019, The inspiration I got, and I've watched the whole class, and would watch it again is Be true to yourself and your creative instincts. And stand firm for the things you believe in when it comes to your company integrity. Also don't be afraid to shoot new and different styles. Be bold and show confidence. Thank you for this class. It was AHHH MAZING!

What a fantastic course. I've learned som much from Brett Florens: The posing, the workflow, his well prepared "script". I was so impressed. Worth every penny :-)

This course is amazing. Changed the way I run my business. He has a very heavy accent and I think that leads to the negative review about him making negative comments. He is just saying what he is trying to say without having grown up in such a politically correct country like the u.s. I can see how someone from the current American climate would find him offensive. I do not think he meant to come off that way.

I like this guy, and his story about his target clients. And his photography is awesome.

Fabulous course. Brett did a great job. He was very well prepared and is an excellent speaker. I loved how he adds the fashion flair to his photography.

I shouldve reviewed this class ages ago but as is usual for me i got distracted and side tracked by life. This class is brilliant, i learnt alot, many of the concepts are really simple but so easy not think about so alot of the information Brett gives you its almost like a little uh huh moment. Great content, i definitely recommend.

Interesting view on how to get away from low paying weddings

My wife and I were enlightened by watching Brett Florens, and his willingness to share his business model. His marketing and pricing suggestions were an eye opener for us. Bravo Mr. Florens!

I'm so happy I bought this course. Brett caught my interest immediately during the intro of this course. Like Brett I also am a law enforcer and I'm really bored and tired to see the Dutch law do so less against criminality. For many years I want to make it as a wedding photographer. The weddingshoots that i do are always very low budget. In Brett's course he opens my eyes and teaches how to get high end clients. Unlike the bad reviewers I absolutely don't think that Brett is a sexist. I think he's a very humble and kind person who really puts his soul into helping our photography to a higher level, whether its technically or businessly. He's very direct. What you see is what you get. With this review I want to thank Brett and Creativelive from the bottom of my heart. I can't wait to see a new course of Brett.

Before I signed up for this course I read the reviews and watched the free videos available. In regards to his comments about an influx of women photographers. As a woman, I no way took offense to what he said as I believe his point of female photographers making it harder for male photographers to stand out in this industry is because the majority of men are hung up on just the technical side of photography and not the emotional side. Their(men's) reluctance to adjust to the emotional side of photography makes it that much more difficult for them. I feel this is an amazing class with a wealth of knowledge. Brett is a down to earth individual who speaks about his struggles from the beginning of and throughout his career. He is direct and straight forward, an excellent instructor, and seems a humble man. I signed up for this class almost immediately. I have gained so much knowledge in everything from posing, communicating to subjects, lighting, who I want my target market to be, how I want to run my business, and I'm not even halfway through the lessons! I can't say enough positive things about this class!

I purchased this course on sale, and it's worth every penny. Brett is very experience in both photography and in bridal sales/relational mind-set. Also, it's refreshing being instructed by someone from a different culture than our American perspective. He's direct and honest, and not walking on eggshells about his viewpoints. He has a respectful way of incorporating sensuality into his work. I picked up many tips about related things all along the way. In summary, a photographer, not from the United States, with an honest and different viewpoint. Many useful tips all along the journey!

I loved this class! I have many creative live classes and really love many of the teachers. However, there is something very compelling in Bret Florens work. He speaks honestly and from the heart. His work is beautiful. I will rewatch these videos many times. I like that he has class and talks about how to handle yourself and to dress well. Yes, I wasn't crazy about his initial comment about female photographers, but he is honest about what he thinks. The content of this course is so worth the price!

Not only does he share all his techniques, Brett is brutally honest, and I appreciate that alot. He tells it like it is. For example, Right now I'm that uncle bob that offers to shoot for free to build my portfolio. He's that well established photographer who hates uncle bob and uses certain lens to get in uncle bob's way on purpose.

I love this class and have only seen half of it so far. If you want to learn about working with high end clients this is great even if you don't want to shoot weddings. Maybe that should really be the title, High End Fashionable Weddings. He gives lots of info about how he runs his business, workflow, pricing, etc. Shooting segments are good and show his fashion style, loved the prisim and talcom powder tips. He has a nice accent and sense of humor.

I bought 15 classes on Creative Live about wedding photography, and this is the only class that I was able to watch until the end without skipping a single second. I knew if I miss one second, I would miss a good information. Everything is explained clearly and patiently. All answers are given in honesty and there are no secrets. I absolutely love this class and highly recommend it for every photographer regardless of their style. The biggest disappointment is that this class has 100% positive reviews, but I can't find anymore classes of Brett Florens. I would really love to see him teaching about Fashion Photography. Also, I would love to see him talk about his wedding photography experiences in the Middle East. I am kindly asking the CL team to provide us with more classes by Brett Florens, and thank you for giving us the opportunity to learn with such affordable prices.

Take 3 days and take in all of this knowledge or take 3 months and do it slow. There is a lot of information. There wasn't a single time I thought, "I wish I hadn't invested in this". I am inspired and driven to exceed on another level!

I so love this class! I love the way Brett is teaching his stuff and I got so many great inputs to take with me for every photoshoot I'll do in the future. I sure hope to see more of Brett on Creative Live!

I have just started this course and I really wished that I purchased it long ago. It is truly inspirational and with so much useful information. I bought this class sometime ago. The casualness of Brent's demeanor in the Introduction with regards to Apartheid stopped me in my tracks. Apartheid is and was not a joking matter, it was a holocaust perpetrated against the Black South Africans. The crime of Apartheid is defined by the 2002 Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court as inhumane acts of a character similar to other crimes against humanity "committed in the context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over any other racial group or groups and committed with the intention of maintaining that regime." On November 30, 1973, the United Nations General Assembly opened for signature and ratification the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid.[1] It defined the crime of apartheid as "inhuman acts committed for the purpose of establishing and maintaining domination by one racial group of persons over any other racial group of persons and systematically oppressing them."

This course is raw, honest, and thorough. I've been through it several times and I am still learning from it! What I have learned the most from this course is the psychology behind attracting, meeting, booking, working with, and selling to the high-end market. I'm already using Brett's practical tips and methods to increase my ideal client base.
