How to Pose Family Portraits with Michele Celentano

This was by far the best posing class I've watched, especially for those loving more traditional portraiture rather than lifestyle. Michele showed how to be both methodical and fast, adding to each pose. I would love to see her do a real session from start to finish with a family to see the work flow and how she transitions between posing and what makes up a gallery. More classes from Michele please!

I love Michele's energy and valuable information on creating a "puzzle" with the placement of each person. Definitely worth the watch if you do any type of group posing, whether families, weddings, etc.

Loved her casual approach (up front) but really she is very technical and doesnt miss the mistakes. Learning what to look for is an art and she;s very good at conveying how to get the shot you want.

Photographing groups is not easy, this course is perfect to improve. Michele Celentano explains things with a lot of dynamism and humor

I don't do family portraits, but somehow let myself be talked into one with a family of eight. I'm absolutely terrified! So I took this class and learned so much! Everything was a learning moment, not a bunch of fluff to fill up time. I think I'll watch it again to really set the posing tips in my mind and then I can't wait to give it a try! Awesome class!

Very good course to learn about the basic of portraits. She was able to put the whole class in a group picture. Very good value and worth it the price.

This course was a game changer for me! I struggled with posing groups, it was awful. I had pictures on my phone I would reference all the time and I'm embarrassed when I think back to that. She explains everything in a way that makes so much sense. It doesn't matter how many people, you can keep adding folks and you will know right where to put them. I feel so blessed to have taken this class. If your thinking about taking this class, just do it! You won't regret it!

Good solid posing tips. Learned quite a bit. The one criticism is the repeated emphasis on women's dislike of their body. Understand the need to convey how some women feel but think the repetition is counterproductive and harmful to the psyche.

This class is just what I was needing. I have a group of 40 people coming up in a month and I am super nervous about posing them. They are NOT a photography family! It is like pulling teeth to get them all together. Thanks for this video!! Where did you get that tripod!! it is amazing!

Loved Michele's energy, which she communicates as a requirement when dealing with a family that includes two-year-olds. The class has just enough lessons... but then again, I feel that I could use more. Perhaps outdoor family sessions. But overall, I got what I needed from it -- how to shoot groups.

Great course with some counter-intuitive input that, once you see it, makes great sense. Worth the price and the time to study.
