Marc presents this topic so well. Most people have know idea about all the things he is breaking down into manageable action plans to secure their information. I know a great deal on these topics, but I stilled learned more and gained resources for my next-level security. It's up-beat for a topic that could go negative and be merely frightening. I'm impressed that he is informative without "selling" anything (other than the course, I suppose LOL.)

Marc is a great presenter, although I expected a little more information in the "hand outs"... great info in the videos, just wish more of it and in more detail had been included in the hand outs.

I walked into this class pretty sure of myself. Of course I know all about online safety. Don't give your info to Nigerian princes. Don't click on links promising me changes to my *ahem* privates. You know, the basics. Marc Goodman scared the crap out of me. And I mean that in the best possible way. The sheer amount of security issues I was 100% unaware of - the misconceptions I had about what antivirus and other solutions actually do and do not do... Marc presented it all and then gives a solid, actionable plan on how to make yourself safer. Highly recommend to anyone who has ever been on the internet and had the passing thought... "God I hope no one is trying to steal my identity."

Admittedly I haven't finished the course ( I'm watching live right now). However, in 30 mins thus far I've learned more about cyber security than I managed to learn in months of online research and another course I enrolled on that bored me into giving up. It's well presented, packed with info and actually interesting! 10/10 Marc Goodman.

Marc not only is a true and leading expert in cyber security, he also has a great way of teaching through a mix of compelling story telling and concrete "to-do's". The class is both compelling and extremely useful. I cant believe that this is not a required course at every high school and university. I am a ISC2 SSCP certified cyber-security specialist for enterprise networks with Earthlink/Windstream and I can tell you, without hyperbole, that is is the most important course on CreativeLive. Marc Goodman is an excellent presenter with commendable credentials and crams a lot of very useful info into this course. I started out the day feeling very frightened and exposed regarding my cyber security, but ended up the day believing that I now have the tools and techniques to protect my digital life. I took 15 pages of notes and listed many to-dos, but am grateful that we will receive a pdf, booklet and infographic on the specific steps required. There is much to do, but it's all doable with the knowledge that I gained from this insightful course. This should be required info for ANYONE who is connected to the online world, which is, of course, virtually all of us!
