Fabulous class. It is not only helpful for illustrators and letterers but pretty much anyone creating creative content to make a living. Most business course for creative folks seem to gear towards people who have been further along their career path and it's not helpful at all who those who have just started. If you are confident in your craft but don't know where to start making a profit from your skills and you're sick with useless advices like "Just get over your fear", "Get a referrer. New customers will come along", then this course is the one to take.

This is a great class. So many practical tips and information. Dina was great, explained everything in easy to understand terms and in a way that made complete logical sense. Worth the time and honestly you'll make far more money than the cost of the class!! Do yourself a favour and your business/career a favour, take the class.

Wow! This class was fantastic! Dina did a great job at providing relevant information that I can use right away. I was particularly impressed at how she was able to explain licensing and royalties, she really broke it down into easy to understand pieces. I think this course would be a great foundation for any artist/freelancer but I liked the focus on lettering and illustration. Creative Live must convince Dina to provide more classes!

This course is jam-packed with value bombs! I've been struggling with the marketing and communication side of my creative business, and flailing around without a direction. This class just put everything into perspective. I started taking the suggestions from the class and it turns out I wasn't believing in the value of my art! No wonder I wasn't getting clients! She has a engaging delivery style, presented the information in a succinct and well-organized manner, and the pace of the course was perfect - not too slow! Dina really presents a lot of great information and tips. She talks fast so you have to really tune in to her, but she moves along and fits in a lot so if one thing doesn't speak to you the next thing will for sure. I'm just listening in from work - that job that I'd like to leave to do my art - and I've gleaned quite a bit, made some notes. Thanks Dina for sharing your wisdom and experience.

Wow. There was just so much information I never even knew I needed. Pricing of course has always been a mystery, but attribution, licensing, client on-boarding, and writing contracts, too?? Dina knows so much about everything and explains it so well, in context, and at a level that beginning freelancers/pre-freelancers can understand. I definitely learned a lot and will take this information with me to develop my lettering career!
