Cool class! Lindsay is always exceptionally effective in delivering a lot of very good hints with just a perfect balance for me between practice (a lot) and theory (the minimum needed)

What Lindsay shows that some other teachers may not is she makes the topics she teach, in addition to be well informative and well planned, she also makes her presentations interesting, fun and entertaining. Thank you for explaining these blending modes. I did think it would be a little more in depth, but still a great class! I have been using preset actions to do these same retouches in photoshop but never knew how to do it on my own... now I have more control over my images. Knowing how it works without my presets has definitely cut down the amount of time I sit at the computer editing.

I've played around with Blend Modes for a long time without really understanding them. A bit trial and error if you like. What I really enjoyed about this course was Lindsay actually explained each mode in a way I could easily understand and absorb AND provided practical applications as well.

This feels like an introduction to blend modes and not a master class, which is fine but misleading from the title. Overall great information but not a lot of practical application demos.

Hi I think Lindsay Is wonderful creative and everything around her is great however I think is unpolite from anyone to talk as fast as she does especially when someone is imparting instructions for many different persons. Thank you

Outstanding! I thought I was pretty proficient with blend modes, but I can't pass up a Lindsay class so I bought it. Right off the bat I learned something new. I've learned a few of these methods from other courses, but the way Lindsay explains it just makes so much sense. It's like taking the very best tips from multiple courses and putting it all in one very concise course. Once again, Lindsay hits it out of the park.

Besides being wildly talented and innovative, Lindsay is simply the best photographer to learn from that I've seen. I get so excited when I'm about to watch a class that she teaches. She has taught me everything I know about portrait photography and Photoshop. You just can't go wrong with one of her classes! Worth every dime!

Lindsay is the best teacher, at least for the way I want to learn. I have picked up so many new techniques from this class and I am using those techniques in my photo retouching every chance I get. Although mostly geared toward portrait retouching, Lindsay always go out of her way to give examples of how the blend modes can be used in landscape photography. Thanks Lindsay and Creative Live, I love your courses!

The course was ok a little short and less detailed than what I expected. Would help if example files were included.

As always, Lindsay explains in clear, simple, down-to-the-point language. She never fails. Good starting point for somebody who wanna experience with Blend Modes. Worth every penny. Highly recommend. Thank you !

It was decent. Not giving it thumbs down, but I was hoping for more of a breakdown of how each blend mode interacts specifically with the pixels. She essentially says -- well, here are some blend modes that I like to use, and you can click around to figure out the rest on your own. The bummer for me is that I already use and understand lighten, darken, multiply, overlay and soft light and those are the only ones she talks about. I would rate this course as a 6 out of 10. Some useful information, but I would have purchased something different had known the scope of the tutorial before buying.

It's a Lindsay Adler class, what else need to be said :) I am so happy to attend this class. Such a time saver for getting that color blending you need to rise above the rest! Best ever blending class I've attended, really opened my eyes. Happy to watch over and over as there's concepts that is useful to refresh periodically.
