Landscape Photography: Start to Finish with Matt Kloskowski

Love the teaching style of Matt K, but one session i.e. 34 is missing from this course which I like is important one.

Being a destination wedding photographer and shooting mostly couples and portraits, I found the course exremely useful. Matt goes into details about the shots and whay things are done the way he chooses to do them. My favorite chapter was the camera settings, really expalined in detail and is completely different than the way I shoot my couples. Hoping to put my new knowledge to good use in the next few day! Great vailue for my money, thank you for the new skills Sir!

This was my very first class I took on CreativeLive and I really enjoyed it. Matt is a fantastic teacher, he doesn't go too fast nor too slow and his explanations simply make sense and are very clear. I have been doing some landscape photography for a bit now, yet this class taught me so many new skills and details to look out for/to apply.

I enjoyed this class very much. At first, after reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure how this class would be but I felt that Matt did a great job. I liked his Editing with Lightroom even though I don't use Lightroom but I was able to apply most of what he said to the program I use. I wish he or someone would do a class on editing with ON1 Raw,

This class was for beginners and I believe Matt did a great job of giving students an great introduction to landscape photography. More on the practical than technical side, but that seems appropriate for an intro class. He comes across as a "real" guy who loves what he does and is eager to share his knowledge. Those new to photography will get a lot of helpful information and tips in this course.

I give this course a qualified thumbs up. It is not as good as Greengo's similar content course also here on Creative Live. There were enough tips to make this course worth the investment in my time, but not my wallet. I did find watching Matt on location, talking about his photographic thought processes marginally useful. The course drastically skimps on the technical side - if that is what you are looking for you will be disappointed. I found some of Matt's advice idiosyncratic and unconventional - although i'm sure it works for him. Matt's presentation style is off-putting - he comes across a bit too over familiar for my taste, after awhile it seems a bit phony - I realize this could be a very personal reaction on my part. If you had to choose between Matt's course and Greengo's I would choose the latter in a heartbeat - you will get much more bang for your buck. If you have money to burn and a lot of free time - there is some useful information in Matt's course.

Good overview of landscape photography with some nice Lightroom post processing techniques. This course has a lot to offer you and I highly recommend it both novice and intermediate photographs. Also, the Lightroom presets from Matt are very usable and can add some good detail to your photos. I recommend the presets also.

I liked Matt's teaching style. He's very low key and easy to understand. I found that his method of breaking things down (5 key things to look for when you get to the shoot, etc) to be very helpful. All are basic and logical on their own, but when put together and put to use, it really pulls the shoot together.

This course is packed with great tips and techniques.

Matt is an amazing teacher. I learned a lot and can't wait to really get back into photography again. Lightroom has been a little intimidating but after watching this class it all makes sense. Thanks for a great class.

I love Matt's teaching style, humor, honesty, friendliness. I love On1 and all the other demos and critiques he does. He makes me enjoy the craft/art of photography much more and is a great inspiration.

I have grown so much as a photographer watching and reading Matt's posts - thank you for taking the time to do this for those of us who want to improve our skills. This is a perfect course for anyone wanting to better their landscape skills! I use all his Lightroom Presets/course also and this has not only taught me to use Lightroom better, but also cut down on my post processing :)
