Really good topics/discussions in this class. The value of selecting the right images to show/edit is very undervalued. Less is often more.

USEFULL INFO FOR BEGGINERS AND INTERMEDIATE
-
This is pure gold if you want to develop advanced masking skills. Excellent!
-
Fabulous instructor! Very easy to follow and loved the analogies!
-
This class gets down to the nitty-gritty of smoothing skin and creating a 3D illusion. I really liked the way Kristina showed how to combine tools to save time and the frequency separator method she uses. The class notes (to download) are detailed so I didn't need to take notes - love that! Note to Kristina: Love the shark fin!
-
A good class and information is easy to understand. But in the general world, some us do not have models & clients with perfect skin. Wish this was demonstrated on a person with a few more problem areas, so we can really see the improvement on the person.
-
Lisa is brilliant. This FS class is an excellent complement to her other FS class. Absolutely worth the investment of time and money and attention.
-
Great class on how to achieve color accuracy.
-
Lisa is a great teacher! She does move quickly, but I have found her instruction to be very precise, and focus. So I think the time she spends on each topic is very efficient, and thoroughly covered. I love her teaching style. Thank for for another great course Lisa!
-
Lisa is all over the place but in a good way. I love her enthusiasm, she clearly loves her job and she makes you want to be a better photoshopper. Just see it, try it and see it again, that worked for me.
-
Just what I was looking for. Basics of what HDR is and the basic steps to do it. I do not care yet about making it realistic or not. I can get into advanced features later, but I am strongly leaning towards non-natural, more impressionistic, looks.
-
Love all the classes from Lisa! Lots of informations and get to the point. Thanks Lisa for sharing this with us!
-
Loved it! New light into adjustments in easier ways! Thank you!
-
Straight on information well-explained in an easy to follow manner. Great class - it was too short! Would like to check out her other classes!
-
Excellent! This program was short and sweet but packed with lots of very useful tips and tricks. I have been using Lightroom for years and still learned so much. All of her time saving tips especially "Sync" were really appreciated. Highly recommend.
-
Fast paced but excellent demonstration of enhancement techniques
-
She kept breaking up and I could not hear her for half of the class. If I buy the class so I can hear her will I have the same issue?
-
Great class, good, clear, easy-to-follow instructions. This is going to have a big impact on my workflow and save me a LOT of time - thank you!
-
Very cool techniques, thanks so much!

Wow, what a great class, another one by Lisa Carney! This one kind of blew my mind in places, all the clever methods she shows. After watching the first couple chapters I paused the video because I suddenly realized I could use this method to fix a problem I had in one of my composites (removing some kids' sidewalk chalk patterns from some pavement) Lisa Carney is fantastic about showing the way she thinks, how she goes about solving problems. I personally find this very empowering, it makes me inspired to think creatively about tough photoshop issues I'm grappling with in my own projects. She says she does not provide a cookie cutter formula for solving a problem, the reason is the problems we'll be solving are different. What she's providing is way more valuable, it's the way of thinking about attacking a problem. I found the course to be paced perfectly. It assumes some base knowledge which is covered elsewhere. But she provides all the information you need here, you just may need to watch the videos a few times (and you'll pick up new stuff on each watching). I ended up joining the CreativeLive annual subscription, literally because I wanted to watch all of Lisa Carney's classes - I find that she packs in so much extra useful information, it almost doesn't matter what she's "officially" speaking about, I have found I will always come away amazed and enriched with her insights!
-
I'm recommending because there is a wealth of information here, and the instructor clearly knows her material. But it comes with a caveat: you'll most likely have to work hard to get it--take notes, replay, stop to test it out, replay again...because the amount of material should have been allotted at least twice as much time. It has a terribly rushed feel to the entire class, and not nearly enough repetition and restatement. It isn't so much teaching as an info-dump. But the content here is exactly the sort of thing I need to know, so it will be worth it to me to sort it all out.
-
It truly doesn't matter if this instructor creates work that looks different from what I like to make. What I got from this course were skills I needed to try something new. (In my case, I watched this before doing some interior photography, knowing I would need to use HDR in Lightroom.) RC teaches you how to set the camera up for bracketing and how HDR software works (in Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.) Apply your own creative aesthetic once you nail down these basics and you'll thank him, too.
-
Great overview of key features and processes of Lightroom from an excellent instructor. I have been nervous about starting to learn Lightroom as a beginner, and this class gave me the confidence to get started. Thank you!
-
Lisa is a obviously a talented artist, but the presentation was rushed as she was watching the clock throughout her class. It would have helped if she covered fewer subjects and added depth to those topics.
-
My favorite printing class and I've taken quite a few. A lot of very helpful information in a short amount of time. I already owned a Colorchecker passport, so now I know how to make the most of it.
