I watch this a 1000 times to this date from since it first came out. We are talking about modern next level metal music from one of the best multi talented producers of our time!

  • John T. Jul 9, 2021

I love Brendon. He has always treated fans super well. There's so much wisdom to be gained from listening to him about workflow and music in general. Great class!

  • pablo M. Mar 28, 2021

The quality of the video is really poor, still a good course.

  • E. Dec 28, 2020

I couldn't even finish and I had to write a review. This women rocks. She is tuning the snare drum, oh my god. She was like "get out of the way drummer, Sylvia is here." This women is awesome.

  • Tom M. Dec 20, 2020

I have been following JS for a while based on some things I've heard. I learned a tremendous amount from this class and am already looking for the next video I want to explore!

  • Simon A. Dec 8, 2020

I'm only mixing my own drums at the moment and this class was totally game changing for me. I've learned so much to improve and get a bigger drum sound. I can't thank you enough. I recommend everyone this class.

  • E. Aug 24, 2020

This is an awesome class. So great hearing Joey talk about his production workflow and the pre-production stuff. This alone could get people started making records! Highly recommend.

  • Jean-Francois G. Jul 17, 2020

Just the drum tuning parts worth the whole price! and it's only the beginning. Great course, great instructor. Thank you for that

  • Sannivas R. Jun 1, 2020

A great class for beginner recording and mixing engineers like myself to get started with. I got a lot out of it, particularly with the drum miking and mixing sections.

  • Lucas T. May 18, 2020

With just this class I can make my music have a professional quality. This class is so intuitive that it should be a prerequisite for any producer.

  • Robbie L. May 9, 2020

Excellent course for beginners/intermediate producers such as myself. This was definitely worth the money in my mind!

  • Brett R. Apr 20, 2020

Thought this was a good class overall, but really wanted to see all the drums get mixed, and I felt towards the end of the class it was a little rushed.

  • Enoch C. Apr 16, 2020

insanely in depth class, great information.

  • Xin T. Mar 26, 2020

The guitar recording preparation class inspires me a lot, because the protection instruction on guitar truly creates more clean and less muddy tone after amp.

  • Fariz J. Dec 27, 2019

This was a great course to pick apart the brain of The Kurt Ballou, but I felt some of the topics could be presented a little better and went more in-depth in like the framework of the mixing process. I fell like if you don't have an understanding of basic audio engineering you would be pretty lost but thank god I knew enough to get me through. But nonetheless, Kurt shared some pretty interesting techniques like the crossover method. Love this guy! Hope to see more of him!

  • Ashton T. Nov 28, 2019

Some really great stuff in here that helped me better understand how to coax out the nuances in mic placement, amp and cabinet selection and performance. Tips and tricks are sprinkled throughout the course that deal with guitar technique, recording, performance, etc. and are nice to make note of. Towards the end it gets a bit focused on Pro Tools functions, which is not useful to me as a non-Pro Tools user, but you can take some concepts and apply them in other circumstances.

  • Marek B. Apr 8, 2019

What a great educator! I recommend this course to anyone on any level. I'd like more footage from the studio, though, but it is still cool. Don't think too long. Get it now!

  • Marek B. Mar 17, 2019

    Fantastic course. Very highly recommended.

  • SImen S. Nov 8, 2018
