Looking back at my experience in JavaScript development with Node, Express, and MongoDB, I can honestly say it was a genuinely great learning experience. I gained a much deeper understanding of how the backend works, and I was able to apply what I learned by building actual backend apps throughout the course. This course helped to demystify back-end architectures for websites and web apps. I was lucky enough to have Colin Jaffe as my instructor. Colin is an approachable, fun, and passionate teacher who is clearly in a job he cares about. At the end of the course, I am confident with back-end architectures for web apps, and I can write my web apps with CRUD functionality relevant to the industry I want to work in and post them to my portfolio on GitHub. I recommend this course as a key component for anyone looking to improve their understanding of how full-stack websites and web apps work!

I highly recommend Noble Desktop and the JavaScript program for anyone who wants to get started with web development. Colin is one of the best instructors I've ever had. Brian has crafted the curriculum very carefully. The documents and the way he presents them prepare each student for their next steps as a programmer. The class moves fast and covers a lot of ground, so it requires focus and endurance. But it's worth the journey.

If you have the discipline to show up every day and complete projects, Noble Desktop will give you everything you need to master the fundamentals of JavaScript! I highly recommend learning a bit of programming on your own prior to taking the course, as a foundation.

The class is very thorough. It allows you to practice new skills while building upon things you learned from previous classes. Brian (the instructor) clearly has a lot of knowledge of JavaScript. He diligently goes over the material and gets you comfortable with various parts of the language.

Completing the JavaScript course in just one month was quite challenging. It required a high level of self-dedication to fully immerse oneself in JavaScript to achieve success. Despite the rigorous study schedule, Brian consistently motivated us to keep up. Even on the very last day of the class, he showed genuine concern for our portfolios. This class lays the groundwork for learning JavaScript and adding functionality to webpages. It teaches basic and universal concepts for programming and for linking between HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I really enjoyed my instructor's teaching style because he explained what each line of code does and why we would use it.
