Very knowledgeable instructor! I only had him for this course, but he was clearly knowledgeable, patient, and accessible as an instructor.

Exactly what I needed! I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out my new site's control panel and WordPress coding. The instructor covered everything from registering domains, navigating the control panel, and, of course, building with WordPress. The final day was extremely helpful as well, as he walked us through the source code for all of the site's components.

Eugenio was amazing! Steady pace instructor, he answered any and all questions. I would recommend anyone of any skill level who wants to know more about WordPress to go through him.

The class was very well presented and easy to follow along with. The instructor was well-versed in WordPress and provided information that would be beneficial for someone using WordPress in a business model.

Eugenio is a good teacher. He is very patient and makes sure all of the students know the basics. He did a great job showing us how to open and use the WordPress files in Visual Studio Code. It was also valuable to learn how LocalWP and WordPress work.

Eugenio's course on WordPress and and the Visual Code Editor was a stunning demonstration of one who knows his subject so well that he is able to make it sound simple (without leading us to believe it is).

Highly recommended for someone that wants to learn new skills in tech.

This class lays the groundwork for learning JavaScript and adding functionality to webpages. It teaches basic and universal concepts for programming and for linking between HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I really enjoyed my instructor's teaching style because he explained what each line of code does and why we would use it.

I feel like I learned what I need to know to build a basic website, thanks to the instructor's explanations, demos, examples, and walkthroughs. The code examples and comments made in class are excellent references for future website development projects.

You can show up not knowing what a computer is and leave knowing basic HTML and CSS.

For website designers who demand a high degree of control in their applications, this is a great way to learn what is involved in creating the interface and themes in WordPress.

I have taken a variety of classes at Noble Desktop. I will continue to take classes to maintain my skill set because they are informative and easy to follow. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful.

I was doing a lot of career exploration, hit a wall, and had to regroup and reassess some of the things that I was truly passionate about. At that point in my career, I knew I wanted to get back to exploring some of my passions in design and the digital world. Noble Desktop really appealed to me because it was an undaunting steppingstone. It felt like the perfect first step. It gave me the push I needed to start building a portfolio site and get into web design. It’s been nearly half a decade since taking the class, but I would say I’ve gained more confidence since, and have continued to build on the very foundations of things I learned at Noble Desktop. For example, I learned about aspect ratios while at Noble, and was able to apply that to my work as an interactive web developer at a lifestyle branding agency. I would like to think I landed this role because I had a good online presence from my personal website that I built after completing the Noble Desktop course. As long as you put in the work, and have Noble Desktop be your guide, you will definitely get a good return on your education!

I was introduced to Noble Desktop years ago by an employer. At the time, we were implementing a new workflow and there was no one on staff qualified to train the team. I was so impressed with the instructor and the class, that I signed up for additional classes on my own… everything from JavaScript to WordPress to UX/UI Design. These days the ability to remain employable is entirely dependent on the need to continually upgrade one’s skillset. No one provides better, more comprehensive (and well-documented) instruction and technical training than Noble Desktop. It’s also a great place to meet other people in my chosen field (and other industries) whom I might not have the opportunity to meet otherwise.

Noble Desktop is the best place that I have found to enhance professional skills and keep up with new software. The instructors really know their stuff! They are seasoned pros who walk the walk and talk the talk. The knowledge and skill that I gained at Noble Desktop have enhanced my career in many ways. After taking the web design certificate program, I went from knowing very little about web design to knowing enough to design and code my own site!

I was really impressed by the instructors’ knowledge of the subject matter, I thought the teaching method was very effective (instructor demonstrates the lesson while students watch, then students do the same lesson), and the exercises were interesting and well-designed. I started working on designing and developing a website for a personal project, so I took a number of web design courses at Noble. Since I was going to so many of them, I decided to get the Web Design and Web Development certificates. Every roadblock along the way I was able to overcome with the assistance of the Noble instructors (and there were quite a few roadblocks). During the time I was in the Web Design and Web Development certificate program, I attended the meetup at Noble where the design and development extraordinaire Dan Rodney would give feedback and assistance to students working on their own projects. I want to give a special shout-out to Dan for giving me so much good feedback and assistance, and to this day I’m still happy with the way BOAST: Best of Astoria (a WordPress site I built) looks. After I received the Web Design and Development certificates, I felt confident in developing websites, and I successfully did that for a number of clients. I really like learning and improving as a designer, so I was not done at Noble after the Web Design and Development certificates. I took Sketch in a Day, and that was directly useful in being hired at IBM as they asked if I had experience with Sketch. I was also quite interested in motion and animation, so I completed the Web Animation certificate. I’m glad I took those courses since I have been working on animation projects at work, and I feel comfortable using those programs thanks to Noble. As a production designer in the marketing department at IBM, sometimes I have to be able to work very quickly and produce assets in the best way possible. Because I attended a number of seminars and classes at Noble, I learned many best practices for design and development and became confident in using many of the graphics programs. Now across the many projects I work on at IBM, which range from print, to environmental, to presentation, to digital, to social, I have the belief that I can handle anything that comes my way, and much of that confidence stems from the seminars and courses I took at Noble. I had a great experience at Noble and am happy I received the Web Design and Web Development, and Web Animation certificates. I look forward to going back to continue learning.

I wanted to transition my career into Web Design and Development. The coding classes I took in college were outdated because the web had changed so much by then. Not only did I learn how to code the correct way with Noble Desktop, but I also learned the other parts of Web Design that I didn’t know before. I signed up for the Web Design Certificate. All of the classes are important, but these courses impacted me directly: Web Development with HTML & CSS, JavaScript for Front-End, HTML Email Bootcamp, and WordPress Bootcamp. Ultimately, I built up the knowledge and skills to transition into the career that I sought. The instructors at Noble Desktop are remarkable! They are knowledgeable, patient, and want their students to succeed.

My new career provides the flexibility to work remotely, on my own schedule, and this allows me to spend additional time with the people that matter most. I completed Noble Desktop’s Web Development certificate program. I wanted to change careers and build smart websites for small businesses and organizations. Before enrolling with Noble Desktop, I tried learning to code HTML and CSS on my own. I frequently found myself feeling “stuck” with unanswered questions. More concerning was that I “didn’t know what I didn’t know” about current web technologies and best practices. Noble Desktop’s instructors answered my questions and introduced web development concepts and resources I would need to produce excellent work. The information presented in class was a valuable mix of Noble Desktop textbook content and tips & tools instructors discovered in their web development careers. The textbooks are so good that when I’m not sure about something I am coding, I trust my Noble Desktop textbooks more than most online search results. The Noble Desktop Web Development certificate helped me land a marketing agency internship. The first job of my new career was coding HTML emails for a national law firm. Since then, I’ve joined the rapidly growing marketing automation field and the sky appears to be the limit. I am working on Keurig Dr Pepper’s Internet of Things connected coffee maker program, building automated customer journeys that deliver, email, inbox & push messages to Keurig’s mobile app. Thank you Noble Desktop!

I got a very lucrative freelance job redesigning a website. I would not have been able to land the gig if I hadn’t had Noble Desktop’s training. My experience was excellent. The instructors I had were highly knowledgeable, patient, and personable. They made the classes fun and productive, and they seemed like really cool people. The course material was written at an appropriate level for both beginners and experienced coders; it didn’t assume too much about students’ ability, but it didn’t make things too easy, either. As a result of my training, I was able to build my own portfolio website from scratch. I developed a design in CSS and created my own original WordPress theme. I had some knowledge of HTML and CSS before taking the training, but it was pretty scanty and out of date. I would not have been able to accomplish what I did without the training. As I continue to improve my site’s design, I often use Noble Desktop’s course books as references. I’ve found the books on Flexbox, Bootstrap, and Grid, and on WordPress, to be especially useful. I can’t thank you enough. I know I was a paying customer, but the money I spent on the courses was well worth it.

Noble Desktop is a great place to learn coding. So far, I've really enjoyed the courses and would definitely refer folks to enroll.
