Good basic info but not well structured. There is no clear learning agenda, no meaningful project, and no end ( video just ends abruptly). Overall, you get a bit more airtime than watching similar videos on Youtube. With a better learning agenda it would have been much better course.

Very informative! Love her style of teaching as she gets to the point and no time is wasted. Easy to listen to, great visual and content. I learned a lot! If your starting out in watercolor get this course!

I really enjoyed the frank style that the class was delivered. Jealous of the 4 students who were in person. I work as an Aerospace engineer and am trying to find a way to relearn to be creative. This class and the exercises made me think and I have noticed that I enjoy taking different perspectives during boring meetings and drawing doodles that make me smile. Unexpectedly, my coworkers have said my work has improved lately. I think because I have become more open to possibilities outside of the tried and true.

Great course! Short and sweet, and I feel very inspired now to make drawing a regular (if not daily) habit :)

I've loved your blog for a while, but wow! I now have so much more to appreciate about you and how you share art, creativity and the real stuff that goes on in our creative lives. I have been an artist hiding in graphic design for a long while because it was easy and didn't matter. I'd just been considering giving myself permission to create again, now I know why I've been so slow about it. I've decided to name my inner critic Gabby because she is always flapping her gums! I recently became interested in abstract drawing and painting. This is a great course for beginners. I filled my art journal with several new creative and thought provoking techniques. The “drawing to music” with eyes closed was just the first of several cool ideas. The course will jumpstart your own creativity! Thank you for your experience and knowledge, Amy.

A really great class that gives a good overview. Solid advice and makes watercolours very approachable.

Paula is always inspiring to me and many others. She's got respect in the Design Industry, and that's not easy at all.

I've been a silk painter for decades and am just starting out with oils. This course was extremely helpful, especially the demos. One thing--at the very end she says that with traditional oils you'll need to clean your hands with a solvent before washing with soap. Not a great idea if you want to be healthy. I remove pigment on my hands by rubbing a clean oil on them, then washing it all away with soap.

Victore helped me to let perfection go and just listen to the words coming from my heart. This course encouraged me to start my book artwork right after finishing this course.

What a great class! This guy is so REAL, and clearly so excited by what he gets to do for a living! His examples of what can be achieved with simple tools are very inspiring. Mostly, it was his attitude toward creating, and life in general, that truly lifted me up! Yeah, Man, we can use more of that these days! Thanks James!

Wonderful reminder of the "power of the pencil"! I have been drawing since age 3 (maybe 4). I would watch Howdy Doodie try to draw the characters.... and guess what pencil I was given....the old 2HB. Thanks for the reminder. :))

This is an ideal class for those who tend to stick to the rules in art. James's approach will wake you up to a new beginning.

Mr. Victore was very engaging and articulate...but not perfect :-) I rarely sit through online classes as they tend to get redundant and are rudimentary. This class, however, kept my attention from start to finish. I will be following James at every chance. Oh, and thank you for sharing Nova with us. I love it when people openly relate their experiences of family. 5 Stars!!
