This was a great class! Khara explained things that were easy to understand which helped me to connect the dots. I feel much more confident in my abilities after taking this course.
-
What a great course, Sue. I have ordered my v-flats immediately. A BIG thank you for this course.
-
Loved the class as a beginner to the craft.
-
I love her! She always explain with detail and provide many examples! I really loved this course!
-
Thank you. I appreciated your time and effort.
-
Thank you so much Sue! I have been doing portrait/boudior photography as a hobby for 2 years now. I have a large room with two massive windows which is all I use for lighting. This class has opened up a whole new world to me with regards to manipulating the light to work to my advantage.
-
Great course, very informative. Just would off been heaps better if Ben referred to Lightroom rather than Camera Raw.
-
Fantastic worthwhile class. Ben is also an excellent teacher. I've taken Photoshop classes in college and this was an amazing refresher-and I also learned a bunch of new techniques.
-
After this quick class I had a far deeper understanding of natural light.
-
thank you KHARA.... I ENJOYED the presentation,,,,you have a kind and calm Voice
-
explained well, and real.enjoyed.
-
I wish she would say please and thank you to the people helping her.

i've just started this class. i'm using photoshop CS6 and camera raw 9.1.1 i do recommend it, but in the spirit of understanding everything i'm seeing, I've been tripped a couple of times so far and i'm only in lesson 4. for example, why don't i see .xmp files when i reveal in finder like ben does? (because i'm seeing .dng files, which i've discovered don't use .xmp files). which then begs the question, why am i seeing .dng files when ben is using CR2 files, and supposedly i am using the same files? (i don't have an answer to this one yet). i can't move forward until i understand everything, and it feels like something is missing in translation. i'm sure though, in the end, it will have been worth it, though it might take me a few years to get through it at this rate.

This is such an amazing class!!! I have learned so much and love the way Khara explains concepts. I highly recommend this course..it is so worth your money and time.

I've been a Photoshop phobic for years...Ben has fixed that! His easy-to- understand style builds up the knowledge required just like adding layers in Photoshop, one at a time, until you look down through the layers and realise you've got something quite complicated and you understand all of it. Personally I didn't have any problem with Ben's 2014 version versus my 2019 edition. Fantastic course.
-
You can't go wrong with Ben Wilmore - I like his teaching style. However, software used (vs. 2014) on this is behind the newest version of Ps 2019 - Five years makes a HUGE difference in the bells and whistles. I've had a difficult time following along when my Ps is lightyears ahead of what he is talking about. I surely wish he would make an updated version for this.

Oh my gosh - I love this lady!!! She is so fun and engaging and she obviously knows her craft extremely well . She's also an excellent instructor. Highly recommended!!
-
This class was really good for beginners. I've been taking pictures for a while but this made so many things very clear. I will definitely be taking more of her classes.
-
Fantastic class! Ben's explanations are clear and logical, with just enough repetition that it all makes sense. I use Lightroom, not Bridge and CR, but the first few lessons were still very useful and mostly applicable to LR as well. This very practical and well organized class is exactly what I needed to give me the tools and confidence to move ahead in Photoshop.
-
This is an excellent presentation for beginning photographers. She didn't talk over my head, was thorough in her explanations, and made everything very understandable. On top of that Khara's personality and humor really make listening to her a pleasure as well as an education. I look forward to more of her classes.

a little slow, but good course
-
This is a great class where even someone like myself who has used Photoshop for several years even learned a lot of new things and tips that I wished I had known a long time ago. It is very slow at first and basic but that is what it is, Photoshop 101. One reviewer noted that no one uses Camera RAW anymore, they use Lightroom instead. Well Lightroom is a standalone program, and Camera RAW comes with Photoshop as a plug-in, that is why it is used here and not Lightroom! I am not sure why someone teaching this class would use their track pad the whole time rather than a mouse or pen, but it seemed to slow down the time it took him to demonstrate certain techniques like using brushes, clone stamp, spot healing, and healing tools.
-
This was a great overview of the DSLR camera and its features, the "exposure triangle," and what to look for in lenses. I loved Khara's analogies and visual aids -- they greatly helped to simplify all the information in a way that makes total sense. I already feel more confident in my ability to take better pictures!

Great class and great teacher.
