  • Really enjoyed Adam's class and found it informative and helpful. One point of constructive criticism... When you are a public speaker, it is hugely distracting to keep saying "um" as frequently as he does. That's something he really needs to work on. Other than that, I really enjoyed his presentation.

  • As a landscape photographer this was one of the most informative presentations I've heard.

  • This is by far the best photography course I've watched. Strongly recommend it.

  • Great intro class from one of the masters of adventure photography

  • Excellent class! It goes beyond beginner, but thats OK. The basics are all there and the exercises are worth it.

  • I’m grateful for this course! I had no idea how to fly a drone and zero experience in gaming, which I suppose would make the use of controller easier. Dirk is a great teacher.

  • Well made workshop with good examples It’s nice to see the whole prosess from shoot to finished edit. Wish some parts were shown even more throughly, like making the stitched images for example. All in all a nice workshop in a nice environment. Worth the time and money spent.

  • Moving to Iceland now...? Loved this workshop! I really liked the way the modules are split up, and the way you watch Benjamin go out on location for a shot, then immediately sit down and watch his editing process for that specific shot. So much editing to learn too, since he doesn't use presets! The workbook is also super thorough, so printing it out allowed me to pay close attention and just add little notes here and there. The Iceland road guide is also SO helpful and in depth. Can't wait to use it. Also loved that Ben talked about printing your own work. Would be cool to maybe see something from Wildist in the future that goes even more into depth on that (calibrating your own printer, working with a print shop, dropship sites, etc.) Awesome course. Thanks, Hardman.

  • Great workshop! I bought this because I love Benjamin’s style. I wanted to understand more of his process both in the field and in Lightroom. He does an excellent job breaking down his process and his way of thinking, all at a very good teacher’s pace.

  • Overpriced I love Benjamin's work but I think this workshop is totally overpriced. If I compared this to the Adventure Pro I think it gives you way more.

  • A classic one Would be the basic one that every minimalistic photographer should see, all the informations needed are in, it's full of good time!

  • Great workshop I've been following Benjamin's work since 2 years ago and somehow, in time, he became my favorite photographer. I was curious to see more insight about all the work he's puttin on and this workshop totally delivered. Cheers Benjamin, cheers Alex and cheers strohlworks guys!

  • Very Informative & Awe Inspiring Both Benjamin and Alex have played huge roles in my photographic style development over the years and it is great to hear first hand exactly what inspires and drives Ben to keep pushing his creative boundaries. Personally, I love his minimalist approach and it was super insightful to watch him explain how he developed that style and how he actively produces photographs in a cohesive manner. 10/10 recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a very unique and profound perspective with the intent of expanding your creative horizons.

  • Terrific material guys! You rock -

  • First Workshop The first workshop I have ever purchased. I've always been hesitant to invest in a workshop, however this went above and beyond my expectations. Fluid in progression, great insight and a super relaxed learning curve full of information. I feel this has prepared me to take my own personal photographic journey to the next level. Executed to perfection. Nice work guys! 10/10 recommended.

  • Solid workshop Ben's attention to detail and specific preferences are extremely interesting and inspiring.

  • I have enjoyed Mike's class. His knowledge is deep in teaching. His discussion is best for understand in a short time. I like this class. This class has clear and concise explanations of the process.

  • This is so much fun! Such great advice and so much to learn but they keep it engaging the whole time!

  • This is one of the best classes, both of them are really good photographers and instructors, I have learned many things that I hope to put in practice.

  • I’ve been with Creative Live for years. A couple years ago, I became a paraplegic and I thought my amateur outdoor photography days were over before they started (up until now, I have done mainly portraits with different lighting techniques), The challenges of getting a wheelchair to the right place outdoors seems daunting. I think a drone would be an answer to some of the obstacles. Thank you for this video.. It is heading me in the right direction for some new experiences... Very well done for a beginner like me.

  • One of the best classes I have taken in Creative Live. A fantastic and inspiring discussion of the creative process, presented in a practical and entertaining format.

  • great class !!

  • There was some good and helpful information here! However he stated that when shooting video he sets the camera focus on a stationary subject and then put it in manual mode so as to avoid the camera re-focusing on a different plane, but I would have liked to have heard his tips for camera focusing on his shots where the subject was moving toward or away from the camera.

  • Highly recommend. I am a big fan of both Tony and Peters work and this course shares some great ideas about following your own journey in photography while sharing their own experiences to help you succeed.

  • While I'm enjoying the class so far, I've heard Dirk make some inaccurate statements that as a Part 107 license holder he should know better. The first couple I let pass and have now forgotten the specifics. However in the first Q&A he was asked if everyone involved in the flight must be licensed, and he said that only the person flying did. That is WRONG! Only the Remote Pilot In Charge (Remote PIC) must have a license, the VO (Visual Observer) doesn't, but you may have a third person, who may do the flying without a license, and they are called the "Person Manipulating The Sticks" and they are not required to be licensed, so long as the Remote PIC is right by them and able to take control of the aircraft in the event of an emergency. So far (and I wish I had made note of the other mistakes) this is my only complaint about this course. Perhaps I'll come back when the rest of the course is done.
