Lifestyle Newborn Photography - In the Home with Emily Lucarz

I really enjoyed this class. Emily brings personality and fun to teaching, which makes this segment refreshing for me. This class really touched me, what she was teaching, because this is basically how I already shoot, but I didn't know what to call the style, and how to communicate that to my clients. Now I do. :-) Thank you.

Emily is exhausting! Please slow down! Some very good teaching but no pauses for reflecting or connecting. Don't try to watch more than a few sections at a time and you'll get the best from this course.

This was a game changer for me. Such a great course!! Emily covers absolutely everything related to newborn lifestyle photography. I was in the process of making the jump from posed to lifestyle and this has given me to confidence and knowledge to do just that. Worth every penny... BUY IT!!!

Fantastic class! Very comprehensive and clear. I loved watching Emily in action during the live shoots and then seeing the finished images and her editing techniques. I really feel prepared to tackle this myself.

Content was helpful. I really do not like how she is so aggressive with physically moving the clients. Like, just TELL them what you want them to do.

The information is terrific, okay. I have just one big complaint, okay. Emily, please stop saying OKAY every other sentence, okay. It is very distracting, okay. Do us all a favor and count how many times you say OKAY in this course, okay?

This class was amazing!! I have been doing Portrait/posed Newborn Photography and really wanted to crossover to Lifestyle Newborn sessions. This class made me feel confident and prepared for my first lifestyle session and truly set me up for success! My session went SO well! I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to take a different approach to posed family photoshoots. It has given me the confidence I need to keep working on my technique and keep my eyes open to the creative opportunities at every shoot. This will sound sappy but I feel like this class changed my life. It gave a strong kick in the pants to restart my photography. I've booked a bunch of portfolio building work and am really looking forward to using all the information in the class. I literally just walked out of class but find myself excited to re-watch it.

Emily's course is excellent and I am so happy that it was my first for being in the audience at Creative Live. It has energized me to continue changing my family portrait sessions to more of the lifestyle type and including more infants. I will be including many things from this class into my workflow and excited to use what I learned, in a few weeks I will be traveling to Colorado for my first newborn lifestyle session and can't wait.

I highly recommend this class! Emily throughly explains her technique but keeps it relatable. She goes over so much content in such a short time. I learned everything from how to handle low lighting situations to how to reorganize my workflow. She is truly inspiring and this class is worth every penny!

I have been struggling in my area with marketing lifestyle sessions as it's just not big here yet. Feeling a little down and wondering if I should keep going. This class not only got me out of my slump, but it also gave me the direction I needed. I now know I MUST do lifestyle and that I am already half way there. I learned so much in the first day and will have to buy the class when I save up some money because I didn't get to see it all. Am currently watching the rebroadcast of the second day and excited as I will have no excuses to not watch it all. I highly recommend this class and think Emily teaches it beautifully. She is easy to understand, easy to follow and makes it seem so easy to do. She has given me hope! I also now know how to finally swaddle a newborn properly lol and love the crib shots and will be doing those for sure in all my sessions. I have gained the confidence I needed to approach my clients, slow down during a session, and find my light. I have a session tomorrow and I can't wait to take everything I learned and put it to use. I cannot recommend this class or Emily Lucarz as a teacher enough!
