On her low internet welcome welcome back to creative life and we are having a huge party here and created like today this's scrapbooking with everyday life with becca higgins this is your mri milk of it and this is john kennedy o'connor otherwise known as j k o on welcome today to this wonderful three day course and we really are having such a party this has been so much fun we're going to introduce our crazy bunch of students in just a minute. Lovely people reaches in in a minute but this is just a few minutes now for us to check our sound, to check our audio to make sure everything's working fine to make sure that you can hear us to make sure that you can see it's so jump into those chat rooms introduce yourself let us know where you're joining us from in the world we had a truly global audience yesterday as we always do on the creative life we have people in france to down we have people in britain, we have people in greece, we have people all over the u s you're very, very welcome ...

back gives a shout out because your mom is going to be in the chat rooms in just a few minutes and she's going to be giving you all the big hello so what was your big harm moment from yesterday might want a scrapbook no and I'm I am actually totally surprised at how simple it can be and how uniform and how beautiful something like that can sit on your shelf because you know I am a minimalist to the core and so I'm excited to know more about that well I was saying it's good that I actually did a little bit of scrapbooking my younger years all of which is a huge boxes in my mother's house in the u k keeps emailing me saying will you come and get rid of this rubbish something it's not rubbish it's my life one day I will get it all back together again and maybe this is the system I need to really reorder it so it's been fantastic and we have a stick bunch of really teo and you know what we're calling them this is our sisterhood of traveling scrappers on and crop er's on we definitely want to introduce them to you starting with michelle let us know your name if there's a place we can find you online let us know where that is. What was your big ah ha moment from yesterday um I I'm michelle take and I live in morgan hill, california here in the bay area my biggest ah ha moment was to pull my unfinished unfinished albums out so we can look at them not keep them in the top of the closet all the time well, that is welcome back michelle really appreciate you joining us again today on debby welcome back thank you. I'm debbie down from san jose, california for me it was the categorize and then containerized things it was just bringing everything together and then sorting through and also beginning with that end in mind so that was kind of a complete package for me so I really appreciated that contesting the how did you get on with your projects? You start to use the video camera all right didn't because I was with my husband we're having a get away thank you appreciate that but I'm like e I want to get going yes oh I will very soon now we are the traveling scratches because connie you've come from utah to be with welcome thank you for joining us again. Thank you. Connie myers from salt lake city I do have a web page of connie meyer stop tom I think my ah ha moment yesterday was just that it doesn't have to be complicated that could be straightforward and simple and fast that's a revelation to me the fast was incredible because when you're ladies or started doing your projects later on in the afternoon the speed with which you've got like fourteen, fifteen pages going was incredible so it's a great system tammy welcome back to you thank you you came from placerville, california couple about tammy casper I think my ah home yesterday was linbeck he was talking about um collecting and feeling overwhelmed with all of your collections and I am that person I have too much stuff and I think, um if I get anything out of this my new mantra will be keep it simple so it was a very simple system and that's one thing we learned yesterday g fabulous welcome back, rachel hi, I'm rachel and from sacramento, california my ah ha moment was very sylar is becky said for her simple equals done on I wrote that down because I think it helps me remember that I can get this done if I just keep it simple and you can get overwhelmed on the internet with a lot of things that people are doing with project life but if you just stick to the four by six and do it quickly welcome back and at least you traveled a long way to join us is yeah, I'm here from my name is lisa johnson and I'm from dallas, texas and my ah ha moment yesterday was when she said, do you think's in batches? Because I usually d'oh I like that you do all the pictures and then you do the journaling because then you're in that frame of mind of remembering things and they come back to you faster I really like that welcome back. Thanks for joining us, cardi. Welcome back to you too. Like gotti from san bruno. My ah ha. Moment was keeping it simple because I tend to clutter ad and then feel guilty about not going away. So for me, it was keeping it simple. Thanks for joining us again. Now our final student, I'm actually not talking to right now because just before we came on there, she said there are no single good looking men on this program. But I'm going to introduce their anyway to me. He's, welcome back. You are forgiven to correct a rich right? You were right. I'm denise from kodiak, alaska, and my ah ha moment was even. The experts are just like us. When we get behind, get overwhelmed. They're just like us there's no magic expertise. When it comes to scrapbooking, they were all just what in the same way I'll do it the same and becky's teaching us how to do it. Simpler, easier, faster and getting it done. That was my ah ha like, oh, wow, this is like me way. Well, welcome back. One of you attorneys were saying she went to out last night in san francisco was trying to convert everybody who she met in the bar into scrap booking. Thank you. See you later on. Welcome back to all of you to memory how the internet is first of all, I just want to remind you how much fun it is to be a student here. I mean, look at the blast that they're having. And of course we're always looking for wonderful students to come in. We have a fantastic video it's called front row it's on our facebook page. So go there and find it and discover how much fun we're having here. You could be part of a sisterhood, tio, but getting back to who's joining us. Wow. Wow. While we have a big audience from all over, we have frisco. We have pennsylvania, hawaii, san diego hilton head. We have curio. So in saskatchewan, pittsburgh, I mean, I cannot list all of these places, but a couple of people wanted to share their takeaways. The takeaway for erica was to categorize, to contain arise. And, of course you, jose says the ah ha moment was that it's ok to not finish every single project so welcome, welcome, welcome, or still glad to have you always glad to have you in. Some of those names are very familiar to us. So welcome back, everybody, who's, maybe joining us, creative life for the first time, one of our long time audience is always with us. We really appreciate you joining us.

I have been involved with scrapbooking for many years and have made numerous purchases for supplies, a room full and then became so overwhelmed by all of it that I have done very little. The reason being, that I was so conscious of what everyone else was doing and mine never quite measured up to what I saw that others were doing with all the embellishments, and techniques. I then turned to card making because it was a much quicker gratification than studying and laboring over the perfect layout with the perfect paper and etc. I had gotten an earlier Project Life kit of Becky's a few years ago and because of a very busy life had never fully gotten the concept, but thanks to Creative Live and Becky I am on the right track now. I am so very motivated and have recently taken all of my photos out of old albums, boxes, etc. and have them at least in order by years so that now I can begin to document this life of mine. By the way, I just turned 70 and boy does that mean a lot of photos. I am equally excited to get an album started for each of my grandchildren that they can document their own lives. My three youngest are 9,11 and 13 and are so heavily involved in sports, community, church and life itself that they need to document this now, for sure they will forget when they are 70 and trying to play catch-up. I have been a fan and follower of all things Becky Higgins since the beginning of Creating Keepsakes and have always felt she was so very authentic in her aspect of documenting, living life and celebrating everyday living. She is awesome and thank you Creative Live for having her on and allowing so many of us to share in this 3 day event. I know I am catching this in the summer 2014 when In fact this was done in 2013, but better late than not at all. A very special thanks to Becky!!!

I am very excited to document my families life. I have 5 kids and a wonderful husband and life goes so fast. I feel like I do everything on the express train! However, this course was not for someone with the ADD brain. This 3 day course could have easily been consolidated down to one day.... maybe two. I think Becky is adorable, however, think she said the same thing over and over again just a different way. I am excited to start project life and review the videos as I need to.

I need help with organization and this class really helped. I also love the simplicity of Project Life. One of my favorite things was how pictures are taken of kids projects to preserve them rather than keeping the originals. Photos of hands has also become a new interest thanks to one of the guest presenters. This class was worth every penny!
