class was wonderful. Not happy with whoever did the filming on this. THey follow HER and NOT what she is doing, the point of the class. IE, when she is positioning the models, or baby, the photographer was focused on the instructor, not what she is doing by positioning. In addition, the videographer spend NO TIME on the boards she was referring to, and lists. Very difficult to write down everything in 3 seconds the board was shown. I would have LOVED to watch what she was doing rather than the photographer up and down on the ladder, or her talking about the points on the board, but WE cant see them at home.

This is the second course with Julia I have seen. And it's amazing and very inspiring in so many ways! I appreciate so much the honesty of Julia, her spirit for doing things she loves. Like a photographer and artist myself, I feel identified with her perception of world and the passion for artistic and family photography. This course is about never give up, it's about hard work, and also it's about cultivating creativity and honesty. I highly recommended this course to every photographer who want to grow and understand himself and the business of professional high-quality photography. Thanks, Julia and Creative Live, for this one!

This class was amazing!!! Julia does a great job of showing her process, how she captures beautiful images from start to finish. It was worth every dollar I spent!!

Julia's classes are a must for newborn photographers. Buy all of them! I am now 4 times more profitable than I was 2 years ago. I am so happy that she teaches on Creative Live. I really don't know where I would be right now, without first finding this class.

Its pretty obvious this poor woman has experienced a LOT of sadness which she talked about for the first 7 segments of her workshop. I felt so sorry for her. The images on her website are amazing so she's doing something right!

So glad I bought this class - well and truly worth the investment. This course has helped me realise why it is so important to make an emotional connection and how to use it to my advantage {while giving my clients the very best too}. I cannot wait to try some new printing/mounting techniques...so glad Julia was kind enough to share this! I got a lot out of this course and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take their newborn photography business to the next level.

This class was very informative. Julia really puts herself and her personal experiences out there. It gives the audience an emotional connection to her while she teaches about connecting with clients. Clever. :) I learned quite a few new things watching this class and recommend it to the new and semi-seasoned photog; or anyone who wants to learn about concept shoots. It's a little bit of psychology, a little bit of technical jargon, a lot of shooting and a smidge of emotion. Thank you Julia for sharing!

This was a FABULOUS presentation. She not only knows her creative stuff but she's the consummate professional making it non-threatening to learn and try new things. PLUS the information across the board is top-notch, accessable and actionable. Specifics as well as broad concepts. Well done!

Yes its not a social network but the course title is CAPTURING CONNECTION. Every person will have to find their unique way of connecting with their clients. This is Julia's way, you can take it or leave it. She is passionate, talented and delivers exceptionally high standard of work. Her success speaks for itself!! Day 2 and day 3 - All about photography mate! Taking photos in studio then walking us through how to post process AND marketing to printing and delivering the final product. And all the bonus material if you purchased the course. This course in my opinion was delivered exceptionally well and I received more than I expected. Thank you Julia.

Watched part of the last two days of Creative Live Family Photography-Loved it! I laughed with you and cried with you. What really hit home for me was your quotes, "Creativity is a journey not the result," and, "Get rid of the clients that want it for cheap." I also loved your quote, I am not a shoot and burn photographer!" Definitely using that one! I felt so empowered by your presentation! Thank you!
