Fundamentals of Photography
John Greengo
new ways to work in ordinary spaces.
Enjoyable and informative, all delivered in a chilled, easy style that encourages the less-experienced.
Wonderful class with practical applications.
This is my second class with Tony and he is awesome. If you can't afford an incident light meter, you can download a light meter on your phone and use an 18% grey card. The light meter on your phone is a spot meter, so the only way to get it right is with a grey card, but it works really well. Thank you, Tony, for the awesome tips. I'm primarily a filmmaker, but my portrait photography funds my gear habit. :)
Everything I've come to expect from Tony... and more. Well worth the price of admission!
Didn’t take online class but did take a live class. Tony is highly respected throughout photography world. He used to teach at The Hasselblad School of Photography. He’s the real deal.
One of the best courses on Creative Live. Tony Corbell takes his time to explain subjects, as well as his experience. Any new photographer needs to grab this class as soon as they can. Learned a ton, and will definitely keep watching this particular one to get better at my skills.
Absolutely wonderful, I cannot praise the content enough. I value Tony's stories as much as the information he is giving away, because it puts the data in the perspective and practical context of the actions we take. Thank you for this class!
Another great course by Tony Corbell. I loved this course. Tony is a great teacher, great photographer and great business man. He's enjoyable to listen to and a great teacher. He holds nothing back and shows how to shoot great pictures even in small shooting environments or on a low budget. I would buy again Tony's courses.
I found myself in a situation whereby I had a call to do a photo shoot with little notice and no idea how I was going to pull it off. This course was a life saver. Tony really makes you understand that you can have a studio just about anywhere. Your place or someone else's. I had never set up a studio before but thanks to this course I did so in an afternoon and took some amazing portrait photos in a small room with very poor light. Thanks to two soft boxes that I hadn't even got out of the box before the shoot and this course. I pulled it off. Thank you.

Great course!
Wow! Tony is fantastic! So many hints and tips, crammed into this great course. I shoot portraits out of a small converted garage, about 9 ft high, 9 feet wide, and about 19 feet long. Tony has shown me so many ways to make this small space work for me, for which I am eternally grateful. What this course highlights is that whatever small space you have, there are ways of making it work. You need to buy this course and watch it over and over because, every time I watch it, I gain more and more info that I missed the first time around. Brilliant!
This was a great class. I really liked the way lighting was explained. Also the use of Headley P. Dellwood was so great to see how the light hits a face. Also I am going to start using my light meter much moor. I will now have to go and practice.
I love this course.Tons of tips about photography. Thank you Tony Corbell for sharing your knowledge about Photography and especially lighting facts.
