I've bought some courses that a pain somewhere to watch because the instructors make the courses about themselves, somehow. What I'm enjoying about Chris is that he is low-key and highlights the things he teaches.

This class was better than I thought it would be. Chris gets into detail on how and why but still allows for your own style to come though. I'd recommend it to anyone who is drawn to this style of portraiture. If you're into light and airy you got off at the wrong exit.

Very good to understand how a portrait gets improved in post production. Very good explained.

Fantastic class, so much information during such a short amount of time. Knight's photographs are absolutely gorgeous, truly inspirational. Very informative class and pleasant speaker.

I don't have a ton of time to spare and largely catch segments of courses on short breaks. One of the things i like best about this course Chris's ability to communicate so effectively and efficiently. He covers a lot of ground in not a lot of time, but the course doesn't feel at all rushed. He's just a good speaker/instructor. One of the other reviewers mentioned that this instructor brings no ego to the stage, and I have to agree. He's a confident and competent instructor without being obnoxious. Rock solid course with terrific instruction. I will definitely check out more of Knight's classes.

Great course.. thoroughly enjoyed it.

Wonderful on lighting and the merge with processing, though very technical, was fascinating. The image at the end was a paeon to what photoshop can accomplish beyond camera and lighting technique.

Thank you Chris Knight and Creative Live for another excellent class. I appreciate both the actual shooting and post instruction. Right before your eyes you will see how simple applications of light, shadow combined with post production can create gorgeous, dark images. Chris has a great relaxed manner, easy to follow while offering a ton of tips and tricks. I can hardly wait to try my hand at producing some hauntingly beautiful images like Chris.

I learnt heaps from Chris. He explains the lighting styles better than anyone else I've known. He talks quickly but covers lots of ground and his teaching style is very simple but articulate.

This is one of the best Creative Live courses I've bought. It simply teaches me what I need to know to create the kind of low-key images I've been trying to learn for years since working exclusively with portraiture in 2007. I think Chris Knight, in addition to being a skilled photographer, is a gifted teacher.

Great course. I liked it even better than I initially thought I would. Chris provided great shooting tips and examples, shooting theory, lighting and post workflow. Chris is a great and thorough teacher.

What a great tutorial and a fantastic teacher! Not too long and full of top information. I'd highly recommended it for any beginner who wants to know how to create and process dramatic portrait, as Chris also explains such things as feathering the light or using the light meter. But also as a intermediate/pro photographer you'll get a lot of it. Thanx for this brilliant course.
