    I've seen Tony live and loved the practical insights he offered. It's all so useful, and this course is no exception. Uncomplicated and casual, Tony is like having a friend come over and show you what he knows. Tony isn't flashy (No pun intended), he's old school and that is all for the best.

    Bought this class on sale for 19$ and it was a great buy considering it was my first class I purchased on CL. Tony is an excellent teacher and demonstrates extensive knowledge on lighting and different uses of modifiers. Overall this is an excellent course for any one who is interested in learning studio lighting, this will give you a great detail of information.

    Liked this course. It is about a lot more than light shaping tools. Tony has a strong emphasis on understanding the possibilities, rather than telling people 'what to do, or not', and he has a very pleasant style.

    This is one of the best how to lighting programs that I have seen. I was there live, but still come back to it again and again when I am facing a new lighting challenge. At $19, it is an absolute steal.

More importantly I found Tony's instruction to be personable, affable, and understandable. Learning how to use a light meter properly, trusting the tools that we have at our disposal, and that us photographers have total control over highlights and shadows--and what tools to use to achieve various looks, made this class invaluable to my continued learning.
