Nikon Wireless Flash for Creative Photography with Mike Hagen

This class is an excellent primer on Nikon's Creative Lighting System. Mike does an excellent job simplifying what can seem like a complicated system. I enjoyed it and saved it to watch again as a refresher.

I liked this class because it was easy to follow with your flash. I liked that he put everything on the screen so you could see what he was doing. I also liked the real life examples he performed. This class was not in any way boring. It was well worth the money I paid. I don’t have the SB 5000 I have the SB 800. So, that tells you how old my flash is and I’ve had it a long time. Ever knew what all the buttons did and why but now I do. I will show this class again.

Mike is an excellent teacher. He knows his lighting ... he knows how to make difficult things easy. You will learn Nikon's flash.

Great class; de-mystified all the controls on the Nikon speedlights I'd bought. After watching this if you're interested in more creative lighting setups with Nikon's CLS I'd recommend Joe McNally's course on here: "Lighting, Logistics, and Strategies for a Life in Photography"

Probably one of the best Flash courses on Creative Live. Would like to see more Nikon Flash oriented courses on Creative Live, particularly Strobist type work. Well done

So, here's the deal. If you can't get to a Mike Hagan course in person this is the best next thing. I have know Mike for 6 years and he never disappoints. I took this course through Nikonians about four years ago and found this to be not only a great review but a significant update from what I l learned in the previous class. Mike is one who never rests on his laurels and as a teacher he is constantly updating and improving his work. Speed lights are so much more complex then most people understand and Mike use his knowledge to take that complexity and reduce it to a set of clear and understandable methods. So glad to see that Creative Live has included him in their line up of instructors.

Great Class, He explains so easily!! i had some aha! moments!!

I stayed up all night to see this course. And I am so very glad I did. I have 3 Nikon flash's Sb-910,Sb-700,Sb-400. And I just wouldn't use them. Because I had no idea of what I was doing. But after this I will not be scared to break it out and use it. And really Great Course. And I can't thank you enough for all of your help.. And if you are afraid to use yours. You want be after seeing this.
