Post-Processing for Outdoor and Travel Photographers with Ben Willmore

Great class! Lots of useful information. However, I'm not sure what version of Lightroom he is using because I just downloaded the latest version from the app store in Sept. 2021 and the menu options are totally different. It does not give me the option to create a catalogue.

Ben has great teaching skills (despite that sometimes he adds too much redundancy), I loved the course and I learnt a lot. Having said that, be aware that the title of the course is completely wrong. This is a generic Lightroom course (and a bit of Photoshop), not something really specific on outdoor and travel photography.

This course needs updating...we're way past PS 14.2 now.

All the course could be named "Intro to the Lightroom" or similar. So really I wouldn't recommend for somebody who has Lightroom experience. I would expect more on the post-processing. Personally, for me it got interesting and useful from 22th. lesson.

Enjoying Ben's class. A thorough exploration of the functionality and capabilities of Lightroom. I'm a work it out myself kinda guy but this class has helped fill in the gaps for me and maximise my workflow. Perhaps the complaints from some student relate to the naming of this class. Really it should more accurately be named Lightroom Workflow. Highly recommend if you are a beginner or an experienced user of Lightroom.

This class was terrific!. I was familiar with LR but learned so much more -- how to better organize my files, use settings and tools that were always a mystery, and discover new techniques to improve my photos. Ben is knowedgeable, clear, and thorough -- and really makes learning this program fun. I highly recommend this class.

Even though I am quite familiar with Lightroom, there are always little nuggets and tricks that can streamline the workflow. Ben is great at providing insight and depth into understanding how we can improve our process.

Honestly, this was one of the best classes I have taken on Lightroom, either in person or on video. The instructor is extremely knowledgable, yet keeps it simple enough for a novice to understand. The instructor is relaxed, prepared, and funny! Highly recommended.

Great course with a lot of free plug-ins and real life examples. Ben does a wonderful job explaining all aspects of Lightroom. I was only using about 10% of the capabilities prior to this course and now I'm probably using more like 40-50%.. but I'm a slow learner..lol I highly recommend this course.

Before Ben, I installed and un-installed Lightroom three times thinking it was far too complicated to set up a filing system. Ben explains this very simply and practically. I like the way I can dip in and out of the course as I have not got the time to spend 3 days on the course at once. Then, I can come back and go over the videos again if I get stuck. Thank you Ben!

Ben is my go to guru for all photo editing, you always know you will get the best teaching. Thanks Ben, thanks CL

Forgot to mention in my review that the bonus materials are wonderful additions to course. I particularly like the Handbook!

I found this course very useful and I know it will help me my images shine. The information presented was very interesting and thorough. I use Lightroom and was very happy with information presented that builds on previous knowledge. I can see that much of the information about Photoshop I can use with Elements 12. A little late for my review here but better late than never. Ben you are a excellent instructor and I have learned so much from this course. Was not able to view it live like I wanted to but purchased the course and just watching the videos and loved your orginazational system so much that I now use it myself and has made things much easier. I am still going thru the class, but it is one of the best online class I have ever taken. Ben is so thorough. I used to use Adobe camera raw, but when I bought my Canon 6d acr would no longer work. I am extremely happy with this course. He really covers everything. Thanks Ben.

Ben is very thorough and concise in his presentation of all aspects of this course. There is a lot of very detailed and practical information that would take years to learn if you tried to learn it all yourself. I am in the process of making the switch from Aperture to Lightroom so this couldn't have come at a better time!

I needed a course that starts with the basics of Lightroom and Ben delivered. He gives an example, explains it thoroughly, and then we practice doing the concept periodically throughout the course. I purchased his class, not the first one of his that I have purchased. There is no way I can remember everything he covered, so now I have it to refer to anytime I get the chance. Thank you Ben!

Ben did a fantastic job. Made the use of Lightroom manageable and practical. Done with a very systematic fashion with good use of photos that were processed and developed to facilitate adult learning. The course materials were excellent, especially the download of the lectures, photos used in the course and his set of helpfully organized keyword. He even responded to a query I posted on his Facebook page.

This one was worth buying! Ben's teaching ability is unique and inspiring.

After catching parts of each of the three days, I knew that I would need to have access to this wealth of information. What is great about the program is the ability to stop and go back over something that is not fully understood...and be able to do that until confident enough to move on. I saw no "fluff" in the course, just great information imparted with a style that is makes it easy to understand. CreativeLive scored a big hit with this course! The bonus material is SO valuable, especially the presets. That saves an enormous amount of time for me. My appreciation of the power behind the software is becoming ever clearer. I watch many of CreativeLive trainings and have considered myself well versed in Lightroom but have much to learn about Photoshop. When Ben would be talking about Lightroom I got tired of saying, "hey I didn't know that". Yes I bought the course and have already referred back to it a number of times. Ben is a gifted teacher.

I enjoyed the live broadcast presentations and bought the class specifically for the keyword templates that Ben said he would include as part of the bonus material. I've been waiting for the workbook assuming that the keyword templates would be included, but they seem to be missing. Perhaps there is another instalment to come?

Am happy to add my positive comments-- am happy I added Ben's course to my library-- as a newcomer to LR I found his clear explanations easy to follow and remember--I like the way he goes back a reviews the steps quickly so that everything ties together---course covers the key concepts and provides lot of interesting tidbits--from shortcuts to navigating..

A great course and a great teacher who does not confuse with technical talk that tends to go over most peoples heads. Its a course I will return to over and over as it contains so much useful information. Many thanks to all

What a great teacher and an amazing course. I have learnt so much in those three days that I had to purchase this course. I have been using Lightroom for the last three years but very badly.I have a lot of changes to do to make lightroom more practical. If you are new to lightroom this course is a must. Thanks you Ben you are an excellent teacher and easy to follow.
