Starving to Successful: How to Become a Full-Time Writer with Jeff Goins

Jeff is very relatable and transparent about his own experiences, including his "failures" and successes which I really appreciated. He is an articulate presenter and has some great guests on to speak about their own pathways to success. This is a course with a solid outline and shows you the steps required to get started – or to move to the next stage – in your writing career. Recommended!

Clear and concise direction expressed in a way that is totally doable, within grasp. I highly recommend it, if only to take the mystery out of blogging, posting and emailing your ideas, writing, classes, etc., into an income.

Very practical course, embodies 'simple but not easy'. His steps are clear, the guest interviews are great and inspiring, question is whether you will do the work.

This was an excellent break down of 12 powerful steps to developing a career in writing. I feel much more confident now that I have a well laid out plan, and the course has done an exceptional job providing the necessary framework to get started. I loved the inclusion of the guest speakers and how well Jeff provides a mutually beneficial platform where their work and his are both promoted at the same time. This is exactly at the core of what he is trying to teach, while also acitvily showing you how it's done.

This course was worth every penny. Jeff is a terrific speaker. He is informative, engaging and funny. If you are a writer and are wondering how to take your writing from a hobby to a business, this is a terrific course.

Great course. The information is very useful, the examples are perfect to clarify the steps of how to start a write, create your blog and how monetize your blog.

Although I am not an aspiring novelist or blogger, this course was incredibly insightful. Jeff is a fantastic teacher with lots of practical ideas. He combines a passion for writing with pragmatic steps towards turning passion into profit. He is very engaging and I look forward to following up this course by reading his books. Highly recommend.

Very thorough and in depth course, with very clear steps on how to market your work. I'm not sure, though, why it specifically mentions "writer" in the title, as this course could be very useful for most creators.

Brilliant class, throughly enjoyed it. Love the 12 Steps workbook that goes with it. Feel like the class really clarified the different paths and options you can choose from, to ensure you are on the right path and not just what some else believes is the path to success. Jeff empowers you with the knowledge to choose whats right for you. Now I am putting it into action!

This class is a gift to your inner creator that will keep on giving. I've been immersed in Jeff's work for a while, and being in the in-studio audience deepened my appreciation for his proven and repeatable process. If you desire to share your words with a tribe hungry to read and pay for them, this class will sharpen your creative saw, fill your cup of inspiration and focus your efforts where they'll count and matter most. This was great. I loved how he went into some of the tactical strategies on making a living with writing. It's defiantly worth going through.

A well put together course. Jeff has infectious energy, is passionate about his material and sincere in his delivery. You come away from the class with a wealth of information on how to start, how to fix what you're doing that's not working, or how to make what you're doing way better. I definitely see the effort that was put into the class and appreciate the workbook that comes with it and the resources made available. During the class Jeff gives helpful links, as does his guest speakers. Overall you leave feeling that your time was very well spent and you have a wealth of information delivered in a system to help you get started or to propel you if your progress is sluggish.
