There's a common misconception that artists have a monopoly on creativity. But the very act of making something—shooting a photograph, designing a product, thinking critically, or building a business—is a creative one. These small actions come from our unique inner impulse to create.

This is what Richard Branson, Jared Leto and Arianna Huffington have in common. This is what makes Brené Brown, Tim Ferriss and Mark Cuban successful. They're all world-class achievers, but more than anything, they've used their creative impulse as both fuel and compass. It has allowed them to push on when others haven't, overcome obstacles thought impossible, and build a life of habits that sustain their mindset. And they'll be the first to tell you that their accomplishments are built on learned skills available to anyone.

In this free video series, you'll learn about the big thinking and breakthroughs that allowed these geniuses to break the mold. They'll share their successes and failures, and turn them into actionable insights for you. Join renowed photographer and CreativeLive Founder Chase Jarvis as he interviews 30 of the brightest minds of our time:

Watching Brene Brown and Chase Jarvis was the best things I've seen so far on Creative Live. Creative Live has given me so much freedom to go beyond what I thought possible, and in this interview on 30 Days of Genius, Dr Brown offers an antidote to the world's harshness and meanness. She asks you to dig deep to find grace, for yourself and others, to surrender to joy to and stop putting on the face the world expects. One of the most impactful stories she told involved a tweet that said "Why is Brene Brown here" at a certain event. Initially wanting to eviscerate the guy, she read further and realized that he was really excited she was there, not questioning whether she DESERVED a spot at the table. Her advice to stop thinking emotionally, and taking that deep breath and trying to get all the facts before reacting, was something I put into place three times today. Truly, truly freeing. Truth and grace =freedom. Thank you Chase Jarvis. Dr. Brown. Grabbed all your books today--you can teach an old dog new tricks!!

I have NO IDEA how you can get such INSANE value for FREE. So I'd love to thank Chase and every single guest featured, you guys are doing the world a huge favor by sharing your thoughts and experiences.

I started watching these courses on a Virgin train from Manchester to London, with the intention of just passing time. I am always looking for insightful, thought-provoking content, that is not full of cliche and the obvious. This series ticked the boxes for me. After watching the Seth Godin talk, I continued the journey beyond the train. Sir Mix-a-Lot was a favourite of mine so far. When he dropped the line "hard work is preparation for a lucky day", my inspiration tank overflowed. Looking forward the remaining days!

  • Floyd R. Jan 12, 2018

Nuggets and nuances from 30 paradigm shakers who provide inspiration, insight and pragmatism to successful living that can make positive changes for individuals, organizations and cultures.

  • Julian H. Aug 23, 2017

I stumbled across these interviews on YouTube after delving into some similar content in my 'motivation hour' circa breakfast when I need some good energy for the day to get me in the right head space. And boy am I happy I did!!! Every single one of these is awesome, unique, insightful, and helpful in sooo many ways to my path as a creator, maker, entrepreneur, etc. Not only does each guest Chase have on this series drop a ton of gems in general...they all provide a wholly unique perspective and temperament, as well as life story for how they got where they are today! While many of their insights are similar after a fashion, for how they reached 'success'..they also really help illustrate how success is differently measured by each individual, and that no two paths are ever the same. I respect Chase for just his selection alone, because he seemed to get the whole spectrum of human temperaments/types in these interviews, and they come from so many different fields. And while these people have alot to say, it's also HOW Chase poses his questions and steers the conversation that make them so enjoyable to listen to. It's almost easy to take for granted how good an interviewer he is until you realize whoa...they just covered ALOT in not even that much time! Needless to say I'm a fan..and I haven't even watched em all yet! (pacing myself) Five Stars here! Go Watch and get Inspired!!! -Julian H Pianist, Composer, Bandleader www.julianhartwellmusic.com

  • Joe P. Aug 2, 2017

I rarely use the term 'life changing'. It almost never truly applies. But over the past 30 days, I've taken very specific, tangible actions based on a number of the interviews. Those actions are having a very real effect in my life and overall well being. I just wanted to say, Thank You.

  • S. Jul 11, 2017

Hello creative live, and high-five Chase . Yesterday I watched Vanessa Van Edwards talking contempt and reading faces and today, man! I watched Seth Godin make it clear about what's necessary and what not when you dare to go creative through your work. Love the show a true inspiration, tomorrow I'm gonna watch Brene Brown. 30days of genius is an inspiration guide to whole another level. Damn, a must watch!!!!
