Adobe Photoshop for Photographers: Beyond the Basics with Ben Willmore

Very good course. The teacher is very good. The issue is that this course is getting outdated and should be updated for year 2021.

My version of Photoshop CC does not work correctly in Refine Edge. I have been following along with the instructor but when I paint the tips of the bird provided as sample images, the selection is not corrected - it is merely increased... Please help. The course itself has been good but I have a critical error here and don't know how to solve it...

After buying Ben's Mastering Masks in Photoshop, and having watched it numerous times, I have kept an eye out for all his other tutorials. I shall gradually grab all of them, but in the meantime, this Advanced course is outstanding. Even the details of Camera Raw and its good bits, I can translate into Lightroom, so nothing in the course is wasted. I am very impressed by the logical, uncluttered instructions and how many new things I am learning. Thanks Ben.

While you should take all of Ben Willmore's classes, this one is especially amazing. No matter how much you think you know about Photoshop, this class will prove you wrong. This is one I could watch over and over and learn something new every single time.

The best investment I've made to improve my PS skills. Mr. Willmore is a skillful lecturer. English is my second language and I appreciate the clarity of his voice and the fact that he repeats several times what he's doing or what he did. Excellent class - quick pace, clearly applies the technology being taught to potential uses - an aspect often overlooked by Photoshop teachers. The how-to of buttons and menus is useless without direction in suitable applications. Very nicely done.

I think Ben Willmore is fantastic. He makes the difficult a lot easier. PS I thought he was going to let purchasers use some of his photos but I don't see them in the list of extras.

Course was excellent. I didn't take notes because Ben said they would be provided with course when you purchased it. So far the notes are not here. Hopefully they will be soon.

Ben made everyday retouching look simple. Great class. Highly recommended.

I watched several of the segments and thought they were very good. Learned quite a few things I didn't know about. When will the additional class notes and image files be uploaded to the site for those of us who purchased the class?

Outstanding!!! I've been interested and have practised photography since I was Thirteen. Transitioning from film to digital. Ben's course taught me so much I had to purchase it! I have enjoyed all of Ben's Photoshop classes. He explains every necessary detail and does not waste my time focusing on himself. I am a beginner photographer, but feel much more confident after listening to both his videos -- the Essentials and Beyond the Basics. Also, I will be listening to them again when tackling a particular situation. I was not able to download his photos to edit them. Will that information be posted soon? Great course to watch. I've been working as a photo editor in the industry since 2007 and this course showed me things I never knew how to do. Its a critical thing to be updated with the newest versions of software because of how powerful the tools have become, it will help speed up workflow.

I was one of the in-studio students, and, I was in his first class too, Ben was great, bringing everything to life in Photoshop, showing step by step on how to get what you want in PS.
