Some great tips and insights. The poor videography is just very distracting, putting the camera on a tripod would have fixed that. It's weird that someone so into details can put out a course with such jittery videography.
really good. really into the topic. not to much basics.
As an interior designer, I learned a lot from this class. I will use these points in the rendering of the scenes that I am modeling. How to place the camera in 3D Max will add to the beauty of the rendering. thank you.
Fantastic class!!
Best class I’ve taken on CL!
Fantastic!!
I like his classes, I have watched them before. I thought this one would newer. I signed up just to watch his series on here and they are a bit outdated. Also, he seems very parched. Drinks a lot during the class. It’s more of a photoshop course.
Really helpful and learn something interesting.
I really loved this course with Scott and found it very informative and inspiring watching the way he works. I feel Scott went into really great detail of breaking down a shoot and the time it can take to produce an image. I would highly recommend this beginners course and I'm hoping that Scott comes back to do another!
So informative and generous about his working method. I've always been drawn to photographing with natural light and this class has given me the confidence and the extra tools to work this way. Thank you! I wish we could have seen more rooms being shot but you get the idea through what is shown.
It's a nice and clear course, with good explanations from Mike. But at the same time it's aimed at photographers starting in the field of architectural photography. I expected a tutorial with some more challenging situations, but instead it contains two photos dealing with masking out unwanted objects and replacing a sky. So if you're starting out, go ahead and buy the course. If you've got experience with photoshop masks and replacing a sky, don't bother.
Greta value for money.
Good content Ben. Thanks a lot
This was a great introduction to architectural photography for me. It covered just enough of the basics to give anyone new to this genre an idea of what it entails.
Ben's course is concise, practical, and packed with useful info. I've already recommended it to several NYC photographer friends. Well done!
Thanks for stressing the position of the photographer (perspective) rather than the focal length of the lens.
A quick course that flows well. Not overly indepth but provides some good tips and some things to think about and be aware of. Good class for anybody who is looking to improve or brush up on their architecture photography. The purists will likely hate it but for the digital artist this will be useful.
I really enjoyed this class and can say I learned quite a bit. Mike Kelley's delivery was dynamic and sincere. Thank you for sharing !
Although I was a bit disappointed by the postprocessing part not being in-depth, I did value getting to know his way of working using only available light for interior photography.
big thumbs up!! this is great for advanced architectural photography. thanks !!
I enjoyed this class, with clear explanations.
Really enjoyed this short course. Lots of little tips and tricks for taking indoor architecture photographs, and was very happy to learn some of Scott's methods for capitalising on natural /available light, rather than introducing additional lighting (as minimal kit is my preferred style).
This class was brilliant in EVERY level. When I read the negative reviews, I even doubted whether it was worth watching it. Now that I did, I can tell those guys are completely missing the point. This is exactly what a photographer needs to know. Mies Van der Rohe said: "God is in the details". Exactly. That's why this guy's work is outstanding and this video shows exactly what puts him above the very rest: extreme and obsessive attention to detail. If you want to know how to mask and adjust brightness, learn Photoshop and be an editor, this video isn't for you. If you want to be a photographer, watch this! I hope we have more of these in the future!
A great thorough way to learn about editing interior photographs. Mike gives clear instructions with examples and techniques, giving you the tools to work on your images; on location and in post. This has helped me a lot, I will be using these techniques in my work! Thanks Mike!
Great class! Scott gives an excellent peak into his workflow, highlighting the most important aspects of it, and clearly explains his thought process. I wish there was a more in-depth view into the retouching process, but overall awesome class!
