Absolutely brilliant. Abba gets to the point, is clear, organized and articulate, and lays it all out in a manner that quickly brings your confidence level from zero to hero. Highly recommend this to any photographer who wants to blog, build ads, or include video in their offering. I feel like an amazing new world has been provided to me. Thank you!

I enjoyed this course and, most importantly, learnt a lot from it. It covers everything you need to put a video together. I had a short video to create and used it as a learning tool while I was going through the course. My particular interests were incorporating stills, and handling sound. I need to go through this course again now that I'm a bit more familiar with Final Cut. One of the really useful asides from Abba Shapiro was that he was using an old laptop to do the demonstrations, so I dusted off my 7 year old macbook that hadn't seen daylight for over a year and downloaded Final Cut. It works fine and will be handy for when I need to show stuff to others. Good course, but wait until it's on offer and grab a bargain.

WOW this class is amazing! I been a photographer for about 11 years and as of 2020 COVID SHUT DOWN I did not want to learn video BUT my clients always asked for it when they booked me. I do record them BUT editing it wasn't my thing because I will get anxiety from watching other videographer edit. UNTIL I took this class course and I feel great about all the function in Final Cut Pro to the point I can sit down and edit. Thank you Shapiro you made everything look soo easy and explain everything. THANK YOU!

Great class, easy and simple. Abba Shapiro teaches in order to make you feel comfortable learning, He is no trying to impress you as a professor so you have the feeling that the logic behind final cut is easy to understand.

This is a great class, however, its very outdated. I'm watching this in August of 2020 and many parts are hard to follow along with, or i have to pause and google often to find out how to do things in the latest version. If I had known I may have purchased something different.

I've been using FCP since 2013 or so I thought! Until I went through the lessons here and boy was I hooked on! I've learned a ton of stuff that I can use from this course! Really awesome course for beginners to professionals and a must for wedding cinematographers! I loved every bit of this course! Thank you.

This is a really great class to get started on the fundamentals of FCP X. Abba makes it entertaining and informative to watch. There is a lot to learn, but making a general viewing and quickly checking those steps in FCP as you watch will help plant that seed in your brain. Then, go over the videos again in more detail with your demo videos or other videos that you import. Repetition is the mother of skill. From here, you'll have the knowledge to build more advanced skills. I feel better now and not so intimidated. Great class!

Great series of lessons that I am constantly referring back to in my exploration of video.

I watched the Adobe Premiere Bootcamp by Abba originally, but I ended up switching to FCPX and I really liked how in-depth but easy he made it to learn. I had to watch this series when I switched applications and learned how to comfortably edit in FCPX. Thank you!

Abba is a great instructor and explains things very clearly (even the complicated stuff). Recommended for anyone just starting to use Final Cut.

Larry is an outstanding expert in the subject and an excellent teacher. There is so much to learn about FCPX and I think I will have to view this course several times, but already I feel I know more than enough to get started. An excellent tutorial and well worth the price.

Abba is an amazing teacher, he creates a bunch of editor´s real life situations to explain things, giving you the tools to deal with it. I would love to see him teaching Motion.

Do you believe in serendipity? I've been tasked with building the replacement for my video/photography class as it relocates from a tech school to an art school. That move will require new equipment purchases including editing infra structures that will support 4K digital cinema productions. I've been editing for a very long time. (I even cut 16mm Bugs Bunny cartoons for local broadcast many years ago.) But I admit I never had a proper understanding of the storage vs. computer argument until now. So buying the proper raids has become top of my purchasing list thanks to the very first lesson in this series.

This. course. is. EXCEPTIONAL. Larry is a profoundly gifted teacher and I have learned so much in just the first few lessons it is mind-boggling. Not only will you learn how to edit on FCPX you'll also gain a much deeper understanding of how to structure your drives and storage to create maximum efficiency in the editing process. HIGHLY recommend this course.

I am only in as deep as the first two videos and already I can tell that I will come away from this course with a great understanding of the software...and I'm going to enjoy the process. Not all educators are created equal, and Larry is on top of it. Organized, well spoken, takes questions well and never stumbles I'm really excited to finally wrap my head around FCPX!

I really like this class, but I was looking for something more advanced for FCP X. I haven't come across anything advanced in FCPX at Creative Live.

I am sooooo happy to have bought this course! I've never worked with FCPX -- Larry Jordan is an EXCELLENT teacher -- no need to monkey around looking for videos elsewhere - this one is really, really great. Well presented, and a reference to go back to when I need it. Plus I happen to enjoy Larrys' dry sense of humor. Would love to see more FCPX with him.

I've watched TONS of FCPX tutorials. Abba is miles ahead of most of them. He presents things in a simple yet comprehensive way. Been using FCPX since it came out and am still learning from him. Instead of wading through hours of Youtube videos or endless questions on nerdy forums, just get this and get down to creating. You won't be sorry.

Fantastic teacher. I enjoyed every video, super worth it. I've been reluctant to jump into FCP X since it got upgraded from FCP. Now I feel confident to work with it again. Seems pretty self explanatory, but I am glad I watched the course. Abba covers pretty much everything you need to know. I also loved his personality, made me want to learn more each day.
