  • Some great tips and insights. The poor videography is just very distracting, putting the camera on a tripod would have fixed that. It's weird that someone so into details can put out a course with such jittery videography.

  • weldone nice

  • really good. really into the topic. not to much basics.

  • Very interesting look at natural and strobe/constant light photography. I found it interesting that Felix was able to replicate, using lights, the natural lighting Sue Bryce used. Lessons kept moving, with very few lulls in the lesson plan.

  • A superb course and one which I already see myself referring back to regularly as I work towards elevating my craft. Thank you!

  • As an interior designer, I learned a lot from this class. I will use these points in the rendering of the scenes that I am modeling. How to place the camera in 3D Max will add to the beauty of the rendering. thank you.

  • Mr. Frans Lanting demonstrated a lot of class during all the sessions. He was an absolute professional and gentleman, what an honor. I learned a lot, and I rediscovered details that either I knew and had forgotten, or that I didn't even realize I knew. I will go back to revisit some specific sessions. Thank you Mr. Lanting.

  • Best class I’ve taken on CL!

  • This course was great--Taylor's approach and delivery of the topics is straightforward and extremely helpful. I am somewhat comfortable with my camera/settings and know some of the basic rules of photography, but his explanations help translate in how to use those tools to create YOUR own images no matter what you are trying to achieve. Can’t recommend this course enough to any aspiring landscape photographer.

  • A great course covering basic and advanced techniques for aspiring and professional landscape photographers! 10/10 would recommend!

  • This is THE workshop to invest in if you're looking to take your photography to the next level! Taylor's insights into landscape photography and the industry as a whole are invaluable. This is the workshop that every photography workshop promises to be - and more. He's personable, totally relatable, and provides a wealth of experience and professionalism. Thank you Taylor!

  • This course is awesome! Great insights into landscape photography. Highly recommend.

  • One of my favorite courses/instructor.

  • Taylor is a great story teller and an engaging speaker but having said that, I would not call this a Landscape Workshop. It is very light on 'teaching' and more about sharing experiences. I found the 'instructional' aspect of the actual topic, landscape photography, to be a bit thin. For example, to quote him in the Post Processing module, "this is not what I'm known for" then why is that the longest session in the workshop; moreover there was little instruction, techniques or explanation of 'how' he was doing something. The Growth module was very engaging yet why do you bring out books but NOT show any of the photos? The technology is there, lost opportunity? Perhaps a retitling to "A Personal Journey into Landscape Photography' for as I mentioned, I do not think it is an actual workshop. I enjoyed some of the musings but was looking for more depth on the instructional side. Thank you

  • Incredible course! I learned so much watching this. I loved Taylor's teaching style and found it really helpful to get to see how he works out in the field. Everything about it was so well thought out - I appreciated the little details he included in the course like the PDFs and photo book recommendations. I would definitely recommend!

  • I really loved this course with Scott and found it very informative and inspiring watching the way he works. I feel Scott went into really great detail of breaking down a shoot and the time it can take to produce an image. I would highly recommend this beginners course and I'm hoping that Scott comes back to do another!

  • So informative and generous about his working method. I've always been drawn to photographing with natural light and this class has given me the confidence and the extra tools to work this way. Thank you! I wish we could have seen more rooms being shot but you get the idea through what is shown.

  • What made this course so helpful and interesting to me were the videos of being out on shoots, the detailed discussion of various photos, information about camera settings, the various ways of using birds in compositions, and the critiques of submitted photos. Frans' passion for birds really comes out, and it is clear that his extensive research and experience makes him an excellent instructor. I truly enjoyed this class and feel I learned so much.

  • Greta value for money.

  • I can't get enough of Tony Corbell's classes. He is definitely a very experienced and knowledgeable professional and, in his presentations, he teaches while being friendly sounding and even somewhat humble. So, always a 5 star for his courses. That said, I don't know if it is him, CreativeLive, my monitor or what but, even though - as he often shows - his histogram looks great, I think just about every pic he shows is - to me - somewhere around a 1/3 to a full stop overexposed. Maybe that's just the way he likes things to look and, technically, they are "properly exposed", but I'd never deliver shots that light or bright personally. That said - again - I'll keep watching because he's a great instructor and I've definitely learned so much from him!

  • This was a great introduction to architectural photography for me. It covered just enough of the basics to give anyone new to this genre an idea of what it entails.

  • Sue Bryce and Felix Kunze brilliantly create the lighting that is used in natural lighting, then the same light is recreated into studio lighting, for professional use in this course. This class and 28 days with Sue Bryce are a must for working professionals. Thank you Sue, Felix and CreativeLive.

  • dave's passion is evident through his excellent work= grat insights and many tips will be used by me

  • This was a fantastic introduction to studio lighting, and one of the best courses I've watched on Creative Live. I've only ever done natural light photos, but I want to learn more about studio lights because I'm creating a basement studio. I'm already a big fan of Sue's approach to portraiture. Now I'm a fan of Felix's soft lighting approach, too. In this course, he demonstrates how to replicate natural light portraits with a simple lighting setup. With a big scrim, a strobe or constant lamp, and v-flats, you can do so much! I'll be watching this course again.

  • Great class! I learned a lot about bird photography and it is obvious how much the instructor cares about the animals and the Earth. Very inspiring.
