Action - Use the Quality of Your Product Sample to Negotiate
in this video, we're gonna talk about negotiating based on product quality. So you have your sample and you find a flaw. This is really good to know. Make sure you uncover every flaw with the product with your supplier as a sample. They usually give you the best of the best. So if you find any flaws in this product, then then it's a huge issue and it's going to happen on the rest of the most likely bring this up with your supplier. And there's a couple ways you can negotiate about this one. You can negotiate on higher quality. Number two, you can negotiate a price. First negotiating quality. In my opinion, I prefer to have higher quality. So I always negotiate for higher quality and ask them if they could fix this, Can they do that? I don't trust them all the time. They say they'll fix it. But they don't always, I've had some cases where some bad customer reviews come in and I ask the supplier to fix this Bad Reviews one away. But sometimes this won't happen and you'll have to negotiat...
e on something else. So you have another option price or you can just kick that supply route. But let's talk about price for price specifically. You can lower the price. You can be like, hey, this is not up to my standards, Please bring down the price. Otherwise I'm out. So price is a good thing to negotiate because it lowers your cost but always make sure the quality is there never want to compromise quality for price. So make sure it stays the same. So let me give you an example of this. So let's say you have an iphone and you're selling it to somebody and that somebody comes over checks with the iphone and they look at it and there's a couple nicks in it. They don't like that. Let's say you're selling for $200. And since it has nicks They want $25 off, They already came out here. You're right there, it's only $25. Would you still sell it? I'm guessing you would think of this. The supplier has the iphone and you're the one buying it. So would they do that? Of course they're gonna negotiate that way so you can get a lower price. Just remember you always have this power and you don't have to worry about it and negotiate on that. You're gonna get a lower price. In the next video.
