Intro to Screen Printing with Erin Dollar

Erin made me feel comfortable with the process. Not so daunting after all. I’m looking forward to getting on with it now.

Recently got my Creative Pass and I decided to explore the Creativelive library out of my usual fields of interest. Saw the title of the course and I said to myself - what is this? I literally had no idea about Screen Printing and that was actually the main reason I took the class. In just two hours I went from not having a clue to understanding the process and imagining me doing it :)) I'm not sure it will ever happen but I really enjoyed the class. Loved the style of teaching, very calm and confident, as well as the moderator's and students' questions which were filling up the gaps.

I really enjoyed this introductory class. I have always wanted to try Screen Printing and now I am even more excited to give it a go. Stay safe.

Wow, that was a great course. Erin is clear, engaging and encouraging. I would loooove to see a follow up course with her that explores some of the more advanced silk screen printing techniques that she mentions in the last segment. Great job!

Great class! Fab teacher! So many times you take a class and the instructor may know their art but cannot convey it to the students. Erin was spot on and seemed to know just what you may be asking yourself as she taught the class and would answer that question! I really want to learn to screen print on fabric so will watch out for that. Very happy with this class!!!

Great class. I studied screen printing at college 20 years ago and needed something to refresh my memory. The class was very thorough and Erin explained everything perfectly. I can't wait to get started!

I was hoping to get some instruction on making the screen itself.

Erin is such an outstanding instructor. She's just so confident with her topic and with her ability to communicate. This class helped me realize that I'm not ready yet to start screen printing, which in my opinion is just as important as recognizing when you are ready to try something.

This class was so informative. I appreciated that she covered possible "trouble" that one might run into and explained how to correct it. Cant wait to give it a whirl!

Detailed description of the photo emulsion process. I like that she shows how to deal with problems that occur instead of pretending the process is perfect from beginning to end.

Loved this class so much, I purchased it half way through the complimentary viewing. With the step by step directions, and tips provided throughout the class, I went right out and purchased the supplies that I needed, and I am ready to do my first project! Having the class available to refer back to throughout the process gives me the confidence that I need. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone that would like to learn how to screenprint, the right way!!

I RSVP'd and wanted to watch the class but I never found a link to it (it was never under the "on air" classes as I could see).

I totally love this class. I've learned so much about screen printing that I knew nothing about! Erin is a great teacher and very knowledgeable about her craft. I can't wait to try this at home.
