Content-Aware Scale
I wanna bring up this image here, and it's called content-aware scale. So, here's our original image right here. And I don't like some things. So let's go ahead and just open this up in Photoshop. So, we're at Edit In, open it in Photoshop. All right. I'm gonna make another layer here. I'm gonna duplicate the layer and we're just gonna work on this top layer right now. So you can see right here, I have some trees that I really don't like. I really don't like this building over here and I wanna change it. So what I wanna do is come up to Edit, Content-Aware Scale and then I want to hold down the shift key and bring this over a little bit. Get rid of that tree. Come over here and get rid of this building. Pretty easy it looks great. I mean I'm real happy with it. I didn't have to do any work, it kept the building to the same scale. Let's say okay. Now let's zoom in a little bit. If we come over here, we can see how it didn't mess with any of this stuff, it really didn't mess with this bu...
t it did mess a lot with this fence right here. And so if you use this, you know, content-aware scale, that's something you have to be aware of. That's how come we have a second layer. Let's turn this layer off and just come up here and I'm going to just use a rectangular tool and I'm just going to select from here and make sure I get all my fence all the way over to this other side. I'm on that layer, I'm gonna go Command or Control + C to copy it. And then Command or Control + V to paste it. Bring that above my layer, turn this one on. So here's my layer right there. All I want to do, is go and do a free transform. So we can go to Edit, Free Transform, brings up my sliders, holding the shift key, I'm just gonna bring this side over to this. And let's see, bring this one over to where that file is right there Say okay. And now all that distortion that was created is gone and no one will be able to see it. We can do it on the other side too. Let's get over there. Same sort of thing happened here. Let's turn off our layers. Make sure we're on here, use our elliptical tool come down select that whole fence area. I'm gonna grab to the church. I'm going to actually this time go ahead and modify feather, get me two pixels. Command or Control + C to copy it. Command or Control + V to paste it. Bring it up above, turn this layer on, and again just go into Edit, Free Transform, hold down the shift key and move this over. And move this one to right about there, say okay and no one will know. I mean this will give you a great, great look. And, you know, I mean look how well it went without having those buildings on there. And it didn't take anytime at all. This works really well. So if you're trying to get some things, especially around the edges out, this works really really well.
