Instagram Growth Hacks

while it can be tempting to measure the effectiveness of the content you post on social media about how many followers and likes you have. Those are vanity metrics they are nice to look at but they do not show a complete picture of the effectiveness of your content. To get a complete picture of how well your content is performing on social media you must consider metrics like the number of comments, bookmarks and shares your posts received. Those metrics are important to your instagram analytics and your content strategy because they will show you how your audience engaged with your content so you can determine what kind of content you should and should not post. When people scroll through their instagram feeds. They often like the most visually appealing content that makes a like on your post. The fool's Gold of social media because there is little value in it but quality content isn't measured exclusively and likes. The unfortunate fact is someone can even program a bot to like certa...

in posts according to hashtags keywords and more. The robots cannot engage with your content. That means when measuring the R. O. I. Of your social media posts. You should not consider likes. You want to measure the R. O. I. Of your social media according to the engagement your content received. While instagram provides great insights to users. Breaking down instagram analytics can be a challenge. You can find insights for your instagram account by going to your profile and clicking the insights button below the edit profile button. You can also find insights for specific posts by going to that post and clicking view insights below your post on the left side and this example you can see in your profile insights how many accounts you reached, people who interacted with your post, how many followers lost or gained and much more instagram insights allows you to view so much including how your post and stories performed by how many comments, shares, likes and more it received. Note that the more you post content and take advantage of hashtags as well as adding a location to your post, the more organic traffic you will receive having a consistent posting schedule is important to making sure your numbers continue to grow Also, while instagram offers so many great insights within their app. When looking through your insights, you want to keep in mind what content performs the best. That will help you to determine what kind of content your audience reacts best to and engages with the most. So you can determine what kind of content you should post. While instagram shows you metrics for both your posts and your profile is important to remember, comments, shares and bookmarks mean more than a like you want to pay attention to those metrics because they will help you measure the effectiveness of your posts. Also, when someone shares your content to their stories or as a post using a sharing app, it expands your reach beyond your followers in this example, you can see how many people visited your profile and click there, you are l in your profile as a result of your post. While instagram shows great insights which you can and should use to measure and improve your performance. The magic happens when you build up your community, the larger and more active your instagram community, the more you can use instagram as a tool to sell your products and services. A great way to do that is to use instagram polls to generate sales leads, which is a feature in their stories. For example, I generated a leads list before I launched my book the end of marketing and I then kept my committee updated throughout my writing process. I used the polls feature found in stories to create engagement by asking my audience if they were looking forward to my book launch. Of course I received a lot of yes answers. So when my book hit amazon I messaged each of those people that answered yes and sent them a link so they could pre order my book. Another powerful way to use instagram is to get content ideas using the questions feature which you can also find in instagram stories. You will want to take advantage of this feature because people engage more on instagram than any other social network, including facebook asking your audience what kind of content they want to see will allow you to not only create a way to engage with your audience, but it will allow you to find out from them what kind of content they want to see from. You always remember you want to go beyond likes and impressions and measure real engagement, likes and impressions may be nice to look at, but they are vanity metrics with little value measuring the R. O. I. Of your content on instagram is no different than it is on any other social network. You want to pay attention to those metrics that show you how well your audience engaged with your content as well as your content that lead to conversion such as website clicks those metrics, show you how well your content is performing with your audience. All other metrics are just vanity metrics.
