Even though this workshop was originally shown in 2017, it's still got lots of pertinent advice about how to do the things that will attract the right clients, and how to conduct a business entity professionally. I think the aspect of being an outstanding service-oriented business is what drew my interest the most; Kathy is all about THE SERVICE! So I'm buying this in mid-2019 and am looking forward to working with her bonus materials to get me finally going in the right direction for my Photography business. I have seen so many people call themselves professional photographers, but their photographs don't reflect their words. I purchased this course because it has a wealth of direction that only a person with that level of experience can explain. I've worked as a professional photographer during the crossover from film to digital in 1995 - 2007 and am now looking to get back into business! Kathy's advice is spot on if you are interested in a business that makes MONEY!! I still have my clients' film and digital files that I refuse to sell, and they still come back for copies. The photographer has to make sure they do not sell their digital files and retain their copyright. This is very important and all images must be watermarked. Most importantly the photographer must make sure they have this specified in the contract with the client. What Kathy is doing is awesome and showing the potential client these samples will get them thinking seriously about signing on the line to hire! Great focus on the 'artistic' imagery and relationship!
