I really enjoy Victoria's style of photography and teaching. I get very inspired by her. I was bummed when this course was over, wish it was longer. Hopefully she'll teach more classes. She's great!!

What a fantastic class. If you want to know what a real commercial portrait shoot is like, this is it. Victoria and her crew gave us a real-life view of a shoot and how they work together. I am a commercial photographer and can totally relate to her process of creating images. I highly recommend this class!

I liked her real life shoot and explaining the fast pace shoot examples.

Nice to see how a professional photographer is doing a shoot. Very helpful and informative.

Excellent. Not the course I was expecting but better in many ways. Some great business advice from someone at an incredible level of success. I have moved beyond lighting and equipment and I just watch and listen, I learn so much watching photographers shoot, interact and their thought process. The first few minutes was worth the price of the course alone.

More excellent advice and demonstration from Victoria Will. Her casual approach to portraiture and editorial shooting is refreshing! There is a good bit of overlap between this course and her Portraits Under Pressure course, so I did feel like I paid for a bit of duplication. But, they say repetition is good. But, a very helpful, professional course for anyone who shoots people (with cameras)!

Excellent course. It's really useful if you are comfortable with the technical stuff and want to find techniques to work with your subject and get that lifestyle/editorial look. Loved it!

Great class, I felt like I was there watching this live shoot in real time. It was helpful to see how she works through her process and I gained several fantastic tips! Thank you!

I Think it would be useful not to use profesional Models ... We just saw Victoria shoot without enough explanation on posing, ligthing etc

This workshop was very necessary to me. I often work on a short time plans. Often I hang and I feel confused and unprepared. Messy place is always a surprise that pulls me down. Totally unnecessary. The workshop inspired me to broaden their knowledge about working with artificial light. And, of course, to buy a few portable backdrops to more interesting portraits.

An compact look into the unique and highly successful style of a top portrait photographer. Through intense focus, interaction, and willingness to experiment, she can get in ten minutes what others could not get in an hour. A look at her website shows that her style produces photos with great action and life that seem to jump off the page, in contrast to the static and posed look that is so common. For a more complete look at how she works, and to stretch yourself, also take a look at her CreativeLive course, Portraits Under Pressure. Anyone that is trusted and paid to work with top celebrities–and can produce excellent portraits when given only ten minutes and a closet–has a lot to teach us.
