Exceptional, this is the real course on contemporary glamour photography, I came away with so much more knowledge to use then I expected. I am so excited about shooting using what I learned. Sue Bryce's technique is flawless. She is a fantastic educator. I highly recommend this course for all levels. Thank you Sue and also CreativeLive for producing this course.

Hi Sue Bryce, I'm so full of gratitude of being recommended to you by Portraits by Dmaly Sherpherd who I met through facebook. At this particular time, I decided to pause this last lesson so I would not forget to give my review :0 Every one of the lessons with your transparency and truths in your life journey in the photography world were so inspirational and uplifting to me. I was so attentive to your way of teaching that I couldnt wait to do the next lesson of listening first because most of us dont like to be still and recognize some hidden dysfunctions in ourselves Wow!! Instead we are always ready to move fast into action and bring all our garbage with us in every area of our lives. I saw myself in some of your teachings and realized what I had to work on and get rid of in my blocks of no valuing what I can't do at my age now!! And as well as in money which I realized results in self hate!! Thank you so much for your life lessons were more valuable than the actual photography videos. However, I quite sure they will be excellent from just listening to you!! I'm ready to begin!!! God Bless You More, May Brown, Photographer in Brooklyn, NY

One of the best class for new photographer, hobby or pro. Its for evryone who wants to make use of natural light in best way possible. She is master poser..Love the way she makes their client move..Almost 60 hrs of content mid blowing.. I bought it on offer, I guess $29, worth every penny.

  • Avril M. Jul 12, 2020

Love, love, love. I just put out an ad for models to give me practice on portrait photography. I got 3 offers in less than an hour and all different - a 14 year old, a 50's style lady and a young lady in her 20's. Super excited and nervous, but will use Sue's training. Practice makes perfect :)

Pure gold. Sue Bryce is likable, talented, funny, and an amazing teacher. She calls you on your BS (your excuses for why you aren't succeeding), gives you business, posing, marketing, pricing and LIFE advice. The class is 58 hours long - and you spend the majority of it looking right over her shoulder, through her lens and watch her walk through many, many photoshoots. She verbally and clearly repeats several critical formulas for success so it's imprinted in your mind. Her advice is crystal clear and your photography will dramatically improve after this class. Before Creative Live, you'd NEVER have had the opportunity to shadow a photographer of her quality... hands down the best photography class I've ever taken.

I respect Sue's opinion and stance that she does not control a client's wardrobe. However, that is not a stance that is written in stone for every other photographer. It is perfectly fine for a photographer to make a choice to work with a clothing stylist for a photo shoot or, if the photographer has the added talent of being a clothing stylist, to add this to the skillset. Again, respect to Sue for her choice on this and I do understand it - and what a challenge for a photographer. But times are changing in this regard - more photographers are getting into clothing styling for photo shoots (keeping in mind the personality and choices of the subject).

I have not fully completed the class but everything I am learning feels like it is helping me a lot with my business being its first year and all.

  • Oksana S. Jan 2, 2019

this is priceless! amazing course! it will change your life, will give you confidence, knowledge and a good startup to your dream photography business!

  • Nicole G. Dec 29, 2018

This is not just a photography class. This is a life class, and if you are ready for it, this is a class that will change your life. Sue not only teaches you step-by-step what to do with your photography, but helps you break yourself open to step-by-step fix what is preventing you from being great. WELL worth the time and money invested. I can't recommend it highly enough.

  • Nicole L. Dec 9, 2018

Wish I'd taken this class a year ago. Ridiculously good value.

  • Gordon P. Aragon G. Nov 16, 2018

I only looked at the intro, I think it should be interesting. I will postpone it for later.

  • Shiho H. Oct 2, 2018

All are great class! Love the way she leads models to the right angle.

  • trachette S. Jul 7, 2018

If anyone is wondering if they should purchases this class, please wonder no more. I recommend this course wholeheartedly! Sue gives so much information... I love the resources that go along with the video. The extras make it easy to get started and I love how sensitive she is to the budget restraints of a new photographer. I have been second shooting for years and look forward to stepping out of the shadows with the help of this course.

  • Ellen F. May 1, 2018

I am not finished yet...lots of work to do!! Yet, I had to share how inspired I am and motivated :-) A little side note, my daughter just got back from college, photography major, of course, and she was napping while I was watching the "checklist" class. Well, she wasn't that asleep, she told me. that she was thinking, yeah, why don't I have my portfolio on my phone? Why don't I have a website yet? This lady is great! Thank you Sue for inspiring us both and leading us to water...now it is time for us to drink it all in!!!

  • Alicia S. May 1, 2018

I love listening to Sue and so grateful for her passion and knowledge.

  • Sarah A. Apr 28, 2018

I'm still early in the training, video 4, but so far I'm thrilled and inspired and have a guided momentum that is just gold. Plus, I think I've developed a girl crush on Sue! My daughter asked, who's that, and I responded that she's a super hero! Thank you so much, Sue and the team at Creative Live

  • C K. Apr 26, 2018

Sue really inspires trust, a master! Learning so much from her.

  • Julia K. Apr 25, 2018

The way Sue explain things is easy to follow and her humor keeps you from losing concentration during the class. She keeps you glued to the screen and learning. She is a very talented Photographer and I feel I can take her lessons and apply them to my own work to better my own work. She is a top shelve teacher!

  • Colleen T. Mar 29, 2018

FANTASTIC I couldn't stop watching. She blew my mind with such tiny small changes that made HUGE differences. She is truly a genious and being able to communicate to the client what she wants them to do. I truly learned a great deal from this course!

  • Rhino U. Mar 14, 2018

She don't mess around. I got goose bumps just watch the first video. I was crying with excitement from what she was teaching. She has brass ovaries. She is the woman. Buy this course even if you are not totally into doing portraits.

  • Ali K. Dec 26, 2017

Reasons I love this course : 1) IN-DEPTH advise, instructions and directions on how to make ANY woman look beautiful on camera 2) repetition of key/important pointers until they settle in your mind and becomes second nature 3) LOTS of live shoots and practical application of theory 4)Sue addresses very relatable marketing issues 5) the chapters on student image critique brings it all together really well.

  • Nancy H. Nov 14, 2017

I tuned in today to learn something new about photography and caught Sue's talk about Fear...and ended up learning something about myself and the things that have been holding me back, not just in my career, but life. Thank you Sue.

  • mary M. Oct 10, 2017

Yes, 100 percent of the reviews can be positive. Because Sue generously shares her knowledge and experience of her hugely successful business. She helps you drill down and find your mental blocks that prevent your success. Many artists self sabotage and cuts right through to the truth. Beyond that, her portrait photography education is top notch. But just know, her specialty is photographing women. If you're a wedding photographer or other, you can still gain a lot from her business and workflow advice, but perhaps the studio section won't rivet you. Sue is genius and truly wants everyone to succeed. She's the best!

I'm only 4 lessons in, so I'll be back when I've finished, but I have to admit a tiny frustration with what I have seen so far. She starts with a lesson she tells us will be hard and then makes it harder by not quite explaining the reasoning for the poses...as in "I'm having her place her hips this way so that we achieve this silhouette" or something like that. But in quite a few of the first lesson, you can't even see the model's hips...for example, so it is hard to determine how to get the right placement. I've been practicing the first lesson and struggling to get the composition right from the scanty instruction for posing. And in the 4th lesson, I was astonished to watch the top of Sue's head while she reviewed her photographs on the back of her camera without showing us what she was seeing and why it was good or bad. How are we supposed to learn from that? As others have said, Sue is fun to listen to and I know I can learn from her, but I think it will take watching the videos many times and guesswork you shouldn't be making me do to feel like I'm getting it. More learning could have been given with a more focused approach on explanation of what is happening.
