get an endless range of looks.
You don't need to memorize hundreds of poses to create dynamic and engaging shots of your subjects. Instead, you can learn just 10 essential poses, and make slight modifications to them to create an endless range of looks. In this class Lindsay Adler will share 10 poses you can use again and again to create dramatically different photos.
I loved it....I've learned so much in so little time....Excellent course!!
This course is excellent! It's short, to the point and a great way to understand the basics of posing couples, women, men and groups.
Adler always delivers, and this is no exception. Super efficient course packing a lot of guidance into a easily viewable 90 minutes. A terrific value.
Watched this video back when I was starting with my photography career 2 years ago. 2 years later im now doing weddings but a refresher of this short video course is still so helpful!
Very useful and to the point. Great class!
Lindsay explains her classes so perfect!
Great Course. The more I watch Lindsay Adler teach, the more I appreciate how talented she is. She always comes well prepared to teach and she is an excellent teacher. This course was a great help. Lindsay is a rock star!
GOOD JOB! Thanks for be so Helpfull! Lindsay is magic!!
Good course, good information. But I'd have to agree with others, the video composure could use some work. It is disappointing when she is talking about say, positioning of feet and demonstrating it with her feet, but the camera is zoomed in, or showing a slide with the topic title so that you cannot see her feet. I don't need to see the topic title for 30 seconds. You can get the idea, but I'm a visual person. Seeing the position changing would have been very useful. I get the impression that this is recorded live with multiple cameras, with scene selection picked real time rather than editing and picking the best camera in post production. I would say the ~20 or whatever was still worth it, but I'd need more convincing before ever considering the ~$100 classes.
Great course, very condensed but covers almost everything I need to know. The best part is that the Introduction in the course "Posing 101", which is a great addition to this course, is free.
Very informative, and easy to follow.
For someone starting out with portraits, this is a great foundation to build on. There are so many things I can now look at when posing models or friends that I'd never had thought of. Easy to follow and very well presented :)
This is a short, concise class, that is filled with great, basic posing information. It's more for the beginner though and while I did take away some excellent points, I wish I'd put the money towards a more advanced Lindsay Adler class that I could have taken more from. She's one of the best teachers on Creative Live, so go for it if you need some solid advice on posing.
Great! No fluff. No filler. All meat. Well worth your time.
I do recommend this course to beginners who are looking to quickly learn Posing. The video has not been edited properly. When Lindsay is explaining the model who to pose,, the camera should have been focused on the model and not Lindsay. It's confusing for us to understand every bit of explanation. Could you reedit the video footage and upload again. Also no PDF file has been included. I just purchased the course yesterday and Ive watched the whole lot of it. Thanks and best regards Chowdry
It's awesome class, i would rate 9 out of 10. Last point got cut off just because of lack of supplementary PDF with poses description.
I agree with Prismatic Vision, above. The instruction is amazing - she's a great instructor. But the lack of PDFs with the course, as well as missing some of the poses due to the (video) camera choices, but it a bit challenging. I'm trying to do print screens of all the poses, which is challenging. But I'm also missing some of the poses.
Great tutorial on posing women, men, and groups. Very informative interesting and educative . Lindsay is naturally talented in teaching and her vast experience helps in putting forth the subject matter crisply to the audience.
This was a very informative class and Lindsay's presentation was great. She has so many great ideas and shares many techniques for getting the best out of your models and clients. I would highly recommend this class and almost anything Lindsay is teaching.
I love Lindsay. Love her style of teaching. Would recommend this class. Learn alot about posing. Can not wait to do some of the poses she taught in this class.
For some reason I always found posing daunting. I would try to "remember" multiple poses and details about where every hand and foot and nose should point. This class helps melt away that anxiety. Well worth the cost of entry!
In a little over and hour and a half, Lindsay goes over ten basic poses and shows you how to tweak each one to get an endless amount of variations. I've found this seminar to be extremely valuable. Knowing these poses by heart and using them on set helps you project confidence as a photographer, making the subject more feel more secure and comfortable and eventually giving you better, more professional-looking photos. Highly recommended!
This was an AWESOME course! Lindsay I learned a lot of great tips. Perfect information to refine my shots. Worth every penny! I look forward to more of your classes :)
Lindsay was a huge help! I've struggled with posing people since I started taking pictures years ago, never feeling comfortable with it, or knowing how to direct people. I'm currently graduating a professional photography course through NYIP, however I still didn't "get" posing. After seeing a short clip from Lindsay's Posing 101, I felt so inspired and enlightened, I immediately bought this class. I'll definitely be looking into more of her classes! Thank you, Lindsay!
Great class! Very informative! Thanks so much. Looking forward to taking more of Lindsay's classes!
